Like seriously. Why are men so rare, again? Did the entire world get drenched in Bizarre Slime out of the blue or something?

Bizarre Slime congealed together, evolved into a pathogen or something which spread across the world, creating monster girls. They started interbreeding and evolving, thus reducing the human population. Happened thousands of years ago.

Magic was introduced that way too--it evolved from prime monster girls who used it like demons.

So there has been, inexplicably, a society in which there are barely any males that are capable of breeding(your explanation of how the human population was reduced makes no sense, by the way) exist, somehow survived for thousands of years, leaving aside the completely arbitrary female genome it prefers, and the similarity to human females that monster females present, and there's still no explanation of why human males are less common than human females, nor, if monster girls can breed with human males, is there any sufficiently explained reason why monster girls are more likely to breed more girls, nor a reason why they are still monster girls rather than having been diluted into subspecies of humans(which, considering they can breed with humans, they already are) that present only slight difference from the phenotype typically associated with homo sapiens.
