Under certain, very specific circumstances it is 13~14, yeah. That's not the general rule, but a special case though.

Scratch that. I've read a recent translation _{Yay wikipedia} of the Japanese penal code, and 13 is definitely the age of consent.

Not here. If the student is dumb enough to attack a teacher they get the cops called. It's not the schools fault.

Pretty sure that's policy everywhere in the world to let the school handle it. At best, the cops will only get called if the student pulled a weapon and deliberately tried to kill a teacher. Hitting them would get them suspended.

And? It's still a criminal offense. It should only be affected by the kid having a mental disability that makes them do that.

That sounds really stupid. They're nearly adults and should be treated like they are. You do something adult, you get treated like one.

Once you hit 18, you are then considered an adult under federal law in Canada. THEN it might be a criminal offense in Canada atleast, though most would try to resolve it in school first.

There is still no reason that the teacher isn't allowed to call the cops and press charges on someone who attacked him for no reason despite what problems she has unless they are not able to get proper treatment for them. And if she isn't getting help from the school then jail may be better for her.

She has a therapy session Sunday afternoons. Which, she is about to go to after she eating her late lunch. This doubles as an anger management class for her.

He persisted in standing there after the tip, Runa obviously ignoring her. He then stayed in front of the bag as she hit it to the point where it was almost horizontal before it got knocked off its hinges on the fourth hit. You'd think after the second he would've moved.
