FTL has evolved into FTL Advanced Edition!

So after my first fan suggestion I pick up the mantle of rescuing the federation from the Rebel opposition! In a classic underdog tale, watch my fly through space and fail terribly along the way!

However things have changed, new weapons, races and ships. More danger and more excitement this time around. Maybe now I stand a chance with the new subsystems and game polish?

FTL: Faster Than Light is a top down, real time strategy video game created by indie developers Subset Games. In the game, the player controls the crew of a single spacecraft, holding critical information to be delivered to an allied fleet several sectors away, while being pursued by a large rebel fleet. The player must guide the spacecraft over a number of sectors, each with planetary systems and events procedurally generated in a roguelike fashion, while facing against rebel and other hostile forces, recruiting new crew, and outfitting and upgrading their ship.

Also, I don't know if you noticed but you can put your spare crew in the sensors and door rooms and they will make those systems work as if you had leveled them up. Better then having them sit around the entire trip.

Ironically, I just died like half an hour ago because a mantis refugee fleeing from engi law enforcement sabotaged my engines, and then the engis killed me.

I noticed this a bit too late, gonna man them in my next recording since it'll be bloody helpful honestly!

I'm waiting for the day that a mantis man goes crazy and kills off my crew, those guys are mental. A friendly greeting is a laser to the face from them. Imagine sleeping in a bunk next to one of those!

So, as someone on the youtube mentioned, your zoltan isn't giving his energy bonus by having him man the cameras. I suggest putting him on weapons, since that would let you use an extra laser.

So yeah I went to make tea and left the game running and the asteroid trick no longer works! So the game has crippled me once more and is forcing me to play the game legitimately. I have the odds stacked against me, I can see this ending well....

So, as someone on the youtube mentioned, your zoltan isn't giving his energy bonus by having him man the cameras. I suggest putting him on weapons, since that would let you use an extra laser.

Weapon skill in the red tail trains crazy quick so I;d rather have someone who is skilled with weapons for the faster cool down, as opposed to the one extra laser being active honestly. You can always buy more power! Plus door control has it's uses.

Some of your folk may still be injured, you went for about five jumps at the start there with two of your crew in the yellow, and really should consider saving some scrap for fuel...

On the note of saving up scrap for fuel you are so right. That's advice I REALLY need to take.
