Jan rolled her eyes. Landlubbers.

"Ya aren't planning on starting a fire right here, are ya? On the wooden docks with wooden ships and buildings all around? And who knows what these warehouses are filled with? Might burn half the city down. Gonna need a cart to move this thing, so might as well bring it some place proper."

Well the aren't my docks or my ships, now are they?

Jan was surprised at the carnage; she hadn't been aware that there was an entire army of the undead freaks hanging around. She removed her hat briefly in salute for the burning sloop and dead sailors (she couldn't be sure if she knew any of them) before turning to the merchant.

"I'll be reopenin' th' inn later t'night, after th' funeral. Until then, I'll be needin' ta tend to the wounded and get some o' the townsfolk t'gether."

You hack what's left of the ogre's head off its body and grab a burlap sack smelling of turnips from off the pier to stuff it in. the sack immediately becomes stained with black oozing blood.

You start piling up bodies for your connivence later. What your plan for them is, nobody knows but you. That's what makes it so conniving.

Kyle wipes off any blood on his hands before heading back to the tavern.

You guys have time to explore the town until the funeral. Or, you could always skip the funeral and have even more time. It should take a couple hours to get everything together for the pyre. After that, it should be another half hour to an hour before the Broken Mast is open again. It is currently a little after noon.

Of course, if nobody wants to do anything in town, I could just skip right to the inn opening back up.

"So hey, I never introduced myself. Name's Janisaries Darkeyes, but if that's too hard to remember just Jan is fine. What's the deal with you bunch of land-dogs?"
