Inspired by Darvi and necessiated by Germany vs. Greece bickering in the Eastern European politics thread, here comes a thread about economics!

Go right ahead and tell us how can you make right what armies of professional economists couldn't!

EDIT: Darvi's name fixed. Gotta have proper credits and all that.

Also I think you misspelled Darvi.

Kill everyone, brainwash the remaining children to worship me, done.

Now that that's out of the way, PTW.

That's right folks, our favourite monetary union! Why are they in a recession? How can they stop it? Do they need to sacrifice Greece to do that?

If we unleashed a world-ending apocalypse such that the population of the world is reduced to a tiny village capable of living communally, we would have at least temporarily solved all economic issues on a human-level scale.

Eugenics. If we kill all the stupid deformed dropouts, the survivors will be smart enough to rebuild the economy AND we'll solve the population problem!

Fire the politicians and economists and roll dice for all our decisions.

We'll have solved them permanently if the village doesn't survive.

If we can systematically - through forced education and the formation of a world-state that immediately takes posession of all children preventing passing of values from parents to children - we could try and wipe out people's desire to have things for themselves, effectively making the economy unnecessary.
And it's only ethically dark grey.

Is it immoral to enslave someone for your benefit if they enjoy it?
Isn't that Stockholm Syndrome?
