You always preferred to think things out before you did them. Why charge in when waiting has it's advantages? Besides, when you're a cop and the alternative is getting shot, you prefer to think things out as much as possible. Anyway... it's getting damn cold. What are you going to do?

Look around for what they might be using as an escape vehicle.

Round the back of the 8/22 Corner Store, 7D NW Street
Call back to base to tell the other policeman about the robbery.
You call in the robbery. The police dispatch says that they know about it, since you were called in to deal with it, but they thank you for keeping things clear. You grumble to yourself quietly about how sarcastic dispatch is nowadays.

Look around for what they might be using as an escape vehicle.
[15] You head around the back to find a van parked. However, someone appears to be inside. They're reading a newspaper currently, so they failed a pretty big spot check. What are you going to do about them? You hear the robbers talking inside, walking towards the back door. You better finish up what you're doing fast.

Cut the vans tyres so they can't escape in it, take the number plate down as well.
Then hide near by.

Take the plate number, get to the car and follow them.

Quote
Take down the plate number.
You take out a pen and write down the plate number in your notepad. YUI-639-ZU. Looks good at least.

Rolling for tiebreak on very different actions... [3]. Playergamer wins.

You take the plate number, and go around to the cruiser.

7D NW Street
[18] You get into the cruiser before they can spot you. You turn on the car without the headlights as they zoom off towards the north. The clerk runs out of the store and kicks the ground in anger at his lost wares. Tough luck, sport, don't get your panties in a knot about it. You're getting the cash back. Hopefully. You still have them within sight. What are you going to do?

Keep following. When they stop, call it in. Chances are, these amateurs won't expect a tail.

7D NW Street
You keep your distance, making sure they don't see you. You follow them into a more important part of the city, with a lot of monuments and historical hertiage sites. Funny, next to such a shithole part of town.

6D SNE Street
On this street, there's exits to the south (Where you came from), to the east, and to the north. They seem to be still going north. A streetlight almost reveals your position, but [11] thankfully, you manage to drive around it without alerting them. A close shave... A few more blocks later, and they seem to be stopping.

4J W Drive
Funny, this is the more business-y part of this district. This street is a dead end, so thankfully they can't really go anywhere if things go wrong. Their van stops, and they start getting out. Only then you realize... [2] Their now totally lit tailights reveal your position! You can see from the light of it that they know you're there. What do you do?

Call it in, including the address. Backup will get here before they can escape. Then, find some cover. They probably won't want to kill us, but if we force their hand...
