They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

Ukraine is very easy to spot on a decent map or globe if you know your geography. With that, as most of you know, Americans are horrifically geographically challenged.... Like to the point of if they dont know where it is, they want to invade it more.

Spoiler: Examples as follows (click to show/hide)

I should note that Colbert is a comedian and his show isn't meant to be taken as fact.

The thing he quotes is from a study by the Washington Post though.

From what I understand, the Colbert guy is indeed a Comedian, but he makes fun of stuff that are actually happening around the world.  So there is some basis to his stuff, kinda like smbc I think?

More than that, his show is a mock talking show, so he talks about current events pretending to be a conservative.

A satirist is actually talking about real things, just in a facetious way.

Beyond the jokes there is actual information.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Yeah, he's a mock-pundit who makes fun of the real-life news by satirising them.

But only until 2015, when he will replace Letterman.  :-[

Anyway, NATO claims that there are 35000-40000 Russian soldiers stationed near the Ukrainian border, citing satellite pics as evidence. Russia claims the pictures are outdated.

* Darvi waves.

Heck, most people I've asked don't even know where Bielefeld is probably because it doesn't actually exist.

I'm sure that is true. However, since the stereotype already exists and we like to feel intellectually superior, we are probably going to continue making fun of you.  :P

Bielefeld is just a myth.
