Well, no more astronauts for you. I wonder how they'll bring Rick Mastracchio and Steven Swanson down.

It does not apply to the ISS though. Is there really anything else that the US does together with Russia? In space, that is.

Soon we'll see no foreign business in Crimea

I wonder when we'll see protests "please take us back, Ukraine?".  Oh, I forgot, protests in Russia are illegal. Well, then they'll have a funny time with Crimean Berkut that they call heroes

Deutsche Post gave as their reason to no longer deliver to Crimea that the Ukrainain postal service "has problems with delivery", which I guess is a true postman's way to sum up the situation. The Czech postal service also stopped accepting delivery to Crimea.

I wonder how visa will work for travel into and out of Crimea too, as you often have to give some kind of adress there.

I guess enforced protest zones in out-of-the-way areas is probably a notch up above total illegality.

This is probably a more important indicator, NASA stopping space cooperation stuff with Russia

This seems like a really bad and stupid idea. Why would they do this? What's the actual bloody point?

Showing Russia that they're all alone. Shunning them, basically.

Not that anyone had the guts (or gas resources) to do it properly, but still.

Cold War is almost back. It is strange to cooperate with the enemy and help him develop military related branch of economy

While we may not see Ukraine flag waving but will see a huge outcry when quality of life will drop. Then people in Crimea will learn that protests in Russia are de facto banned. They are already starting to complain on their forums but majority still believes that it is problems of transitory period, hope for millions of Russian tourists who will bring more money than that dirt poor Ukrainians and $billions of investments from Moscow government

It is so funny to read their questions like:
Why can't I take my money from my Ukrainian bank account?
Why there are flights only to Moscow from our recently third largest airport of Ukraine? And why tickets are more expensive than ever?
Why petrol prices are going up?
