[1] You walk into the camp. Kappa isn't paying attention and accidentally knocks over a barrel. It hits the ground with a loud crack and splits, oozing a viscous black fluid onto the ground. He trod in it and got some of it on his hands too.
Yuck, what is this stuff..? The gross substance has a mildly sweet odor that you can smell from at least several feet away.
Despite the noise, no one comes running. The camp remains deserted.
There are some closed tents on either side of you, creating a pathway leading to an even larger gate. [?] It's wide open as well. In fact, judging by the overgrowth, it seems to have been that way for a long time. Kippa notices this is well and comments.
Something's not right. We were only gone for a few hours.. He seems genuinely puzzled.
