I'd complain about an uninformative OP, but goat simulator is pretty much 'Be goat, do shit'
not my game i would assume.
im more the "be shit, do a goat" kind of guy.

Well, all things considered, not an inaccurate OP.  All it needs is a link to the site, and the trailer.

I'd imagine that a game like this is relying almost entirely on hype to sell (unless it's actually good, which would be weird), so it's strange that they're letting people who preorder 3 days earlier access. Gives more time for word to get out that it's terrible (if it is), but also gives more motivation to preorder... I dunno, honestly I'm going to be more interested in how it sells than in the actual game.

It releases on April 1st... My guess goes for an overly complex april fools joke. :P

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Ever play "Hot Wheels Crash City" or somesuch?  Looks about the same.  Cause one event, and see how many dominoes you can cause to explode violently.

Don't tell anyone that you can see their shadows. If they hear you telling anyone, if you let them know that you know of them, they will get you.

Disclaimer: Goat Simulator is a completely stupid game and, to be honest, you should probably spend your money on something else, such as a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe pool your money together with your friends and buy a real goat.

So yeah, overly complex april fool joke.

I think Jim Sterling's review captures the essence of this game pretty well  :P

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/reviews/11214-Goat-Simulator-Review-Crapricorn

Tl;dr: The game is pretty much a massive joke and is only funny for the first half hour and has no content past that. Pick it up on a sale if you want a larf.

And yet he gives it three stars. There isn't much at escapist worth reading or viewing and that review doesn't change that. Jim didn't even get to the Katamary Damacy part of Goat Sim.

Here's an alternate take on Goat Sim. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7lQdTgEQJ0

A speed run might take 30 minutes. If using a $1/hour fun metric then the game is worth at least $2-3. It's not going to sell on hype. It's going to sell on hilarity and the workshop. It's worth 10 if you're a content maker. I fully expect either a April 1 80% off sale or a sneaky sale in about a month. Steam allows publishers to do this now, so yeah. It's still cheaper than Assassin's Creed Black Flag, which was just Ubi making fun of itself and its IP and gamers had to fork over some big bucks to rate pirate scenarios.
