Lowering their health by multiples reduces their chance of surviving. At -5xHP (-50 by default) people die instantly. I'm probably going to buff melee (and add new weapons) next round so that it isn't underpowered by comparison. As for close range builds, it may not be clear in the OP but the shotgun can destroy players at close range.

EDIT: Just realised, yes, kill-stealing is a mechanic.

((So melee builds are still fucked by range builds. Got it.))

Shoot Saitama again. If Wolf attacks me, shoot at him instead.

Do a flip to the left and use the table for cover.

The main weakness of ranged is that you don't have to spend three turns reloading a machete. With a large damage buff and more players, it may balance out. I originally pulled these stats from GURPS, which is why there not balanced right now.

you might want to rethink all of them, since katana is currently not worth it (too little gain for a flak jacket worth of cost increase), and the machete if the most useless thing in the world (well, alright, I guess if your gun explodes (or is stolen?), and you salvage a machete from a dead enemy it might be useful)

((Maybe a bonus to dodge ranged weapons when fighting in melee. I mean, it is harder to shoot when you have someone attacking you with a chainsaw.))

well, what'd you expect? It's been true since the 19th century. Unless you get the drop on someone handgun beats scissors. (and rock. paper, however, beats handgun, at least outside the US)

(Not that I mentioned it yet...)

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Well, Ace is traditionally a boy's name...

First time I came cross the name and the only other Ace I know has it as a surname(I'm English not Japanese) so Ace is in the girl names folder for me.

Fair enough. I haven't heard of any of these people (at the top), before today. (though I have heard of both Ace Ventura, and Ace Rimmer (whose name is presumably still Arnold, so he doesn't even count))

Turn 6

Run and hide where Ace was, shoving his body aside, and take a potshot at Saitama
(Move&Attack:8/9) (Evasion:15/8) (Damage:9[14-5]) Wolf shoots Saitama as he vaults over a table and kicks Ace's unconscious body out of the way.

(Saitama KO:14/11) Saitama has been knocked out.

Shoot Saitama again. If Wolf attacks me, shoot at him instead.
(Attack:7/13) (Evasion:11/8) (Damage:3[6-3]) Melvin sees that Saitama is out of the picture and turns his weapon on Wolf. He fires, sending a bullet through the wooden table and into Wolf's torso.

(Wolf KO:8/11) Wolf Hounder holds on to consciousness despite his injuries.
