Selina sends the golem to slide down the wall and atleast bull rush one of the demons while she fires another crossbow bolt.

Voice my concerns about this being a diversion to whoever looks like they're in charge and get directed to a more likely point of attack.

Cast a novice level prayer of defense over one or both of the squads, depending on which is possible.

EDIT: ((Also, are the throwing knives an item that will be added to my character sheet, or is it sort of a temporary item?))

Take some notes on demon behavior, as I have nothing else to do for now. Trying to cast something not related to necromancy is out of question, obviously.

Turn 6: Oh No

Keep up the song energy assault, apprentice level as last time.
((TECHNICAL ERROR: Turn Portion Lost. Errors possible, experience gain and overall outcomes should be the same.))

[3-2+1] You scatter energy water droplets at the demons. They are unimpressed.

+2 Water Magic
Now Apprentice Water Mage

(See Sarrak's turn)

Selina sends the golem to slide down the wall and atleast bull rush one of the demons while she fires another crossbow bolt.
((TECHNICAL ERROR: Turn Portion Lost. Errors possible, experience gain and overall outcomes should be the same.))

[4-2+1] The golem sort of tumbles off the parapet, unhurt but struggling to free itself and go after the demons.

[6+1] vs [4+3] The demon just barely dodges your bolt.

+1 Crossbows
Now Apprentice Crossbowwoman

[Demon 1 takes 1 damage, Bow Demon takes 1 damage; original rolls lost]

[1] The demon with the hook promptly trips itself with it.

The armored one snarls, and the demons begin moving away from the wall. They even help drag along the partially tangled one.

Voice my concerns about this being a diversion to whoever looks like they're in charge and get directed to a more likely point of attack.
[3] The captain indeed looks worried, but not enough to abandon or weaken his post. He does mention several other sections have been reporting problems or dangers, though; Temple District in particular just gave out about a dozen alarms. That might be because they're more cautious about the place all the people are supposed to be than what are supposed to be empty districts by now, though.

[3] Hm... demons usually like killing more people, but these ones are smart or concerned enough to use feints...

Cast a novice level prayer of defense over one or both of the squads, depending on which is possible.

EDIT: ((Also, are the throwing knives an item that will be added to my character sheet, or is it sort of a temporary item?))
[2+1-1] You wish everyone luck!

[2+3] vs [2+3]
[4+3] vs [6+3]
[3+3] vs [1+3]
[6+3] vs [4+3]

Several of the demons take light hits from the left squad, the one whose leader tossed you the knives. None of them go for the archer demon, though.

[2+3] vs [6+3]
[2+3] vs [4+3]
[3+3] vs [3+3]
[1+3] vs [4+3]

The other squad has no such luck.

[3][2] The right demon manages to hoist itself up onto the chain and wall with its hands, but doesn't get any purchase with its feet. The left one makes several false starts, but doesn't quite figure out how to get out from under the chain it used to get there.

Take some notes on demon behavior, as I have nothing else to do for now. Trying to cast something not related to necromancy is out of question, obviously.
[2-1] And here we have the noble demon mating call, signifying that it is indeed breeding season for these all too often misunderstood wonders.

[4+3] vs [4+3]
[1+3] vs [5+3]
[4+3] vs [4+3]
[2+3] vs [2+3]
[3+3] vs [6+3]

The archers all miss.

[6][6] The demon with the chains untangles itself, winds up, and lets loose a frighteningly powerful toss right at Tor. Tor catches it on his axe with a pair of alarmingly loud clangs, first from the impact and then from the head spinning violently to a stop. The result is a very firm grasp, which Tor lets loose a deep laugh over. The captain's screams for him to let go of the axe go completely unheeded.

[1][4][6] With a malignant laugh, the two demons with curved black swords begin scaling the chain. One makes it up fine, while the other clambers right over the first and lands in an awkward pile on the wall.

[6+1-2] Spice stares at the leader demon for a moment, eyes glowing a soft white.

"Intelligent. Hunter. ...gathering mission?" is all she says.

Olivier gave out a short 'guh' as the demons finally scaled the walls near him, this wasn't a great thing to occur, something echoed by song, which twittered angrily at the pile of demons. Giving out a short cry of anger, Olivier Fired a laser at the duo of piled up demons, apprentice level.

Test Soul Reaper on demons! And do it, preferably, not as a lone warrior of light. Especially that I'm not one.

((With some more 1's on observation, my writings would become quite a collection of a bizarre ramblings.))

Turn 7: Noises!

Throw knife at Chain Demon A.
[3-1+4] vs [1+3] It ricochets off the demon's shoulder, causing it to snarl but keep its grip on the chain.

+1 Throwing
Now Dabbling Thrower

[4+3] vs [6+3]
[5+3] vs [1+3]
[2+3] vs [1+3]
[3][1+4] vs [3+3]

The archer demon takes an arrow to the thigh, and the armored demon takes a glancing blow. The captain drops his bow, draws a short, curved blade, and attempts to scrape it across the parapet where the demon's clinging, to no effect.

[4+3] vs [5+3]
[5+3] vs [6+3]
[6+3] vs [3+3]
[3+3] vs [3+3]

The other squad fires largely ineffectually, but the chain-holding demon takes a hit.

[6][2] The demon clinging by its fingers spins around and backflips up onto the wall... or rather, the captain that was trying to scrape it off the wall. The captain staggers a bit with his new baggage, while the other demon continues to be trapped by its own method of entry.

[6] The left bow demon draws, only to have its bow forcibly slapped from its hands by the armored one. They screech at each other.

[5] A small contingent of white-clad soldiers arrives, and begin climbing up to the wall.

[3+1-2] Sparkles fly from your hands. Great. That was great.

Song chirps appreciatively at the pretty.

+2 Metamagic

(See Sarrak's turn)

[3] Hm... demons usually like killing more people, but these ones are smart or concerned enough to use feints...
Well, you're not restating that the ones I see are a distraction.

Get to the keep to help defend the city's magical defenses.
[3] You arrive at the inner walls of the keep, where they assure you no demons have been spotted. They do mention that they've been getting panic signals from just about everywhere else, though.

Test Soul Reaper on demons! And do it, preferably, not as a lone warrior of light. Especially that I'm not one.

((With some more 1's on observation, my writings would become quite a collection of a bizarre ramblings.))
[4+1-1] vs [4+3] Your clumsy swing is no match for the demon's quick movements.

+1 Swords

[1][2][2+6] vs [4+3] The pile demon flops over to Tor, who calmly pins it with one foot. The other stumbles at Tor, who catches the demon's jagged blade almost entirely on his axe, and leans in to examine its face.

[3] "HAH! Hopin' fer an easy meal, eh?" he asks.

[3] Spice continues looking at the armored one.

[4] The captain orders his men to get away from the demons and Tor. They do so readily, crouching behind what they hope is the protective barrier of the wall.

((Either aerials or tunnelers. I'm thinking tunnelers. Probably warded against it, but I can think of ways around wards if you're not seen, like <REDACTED UNTIL THE GM STOPS LOOKING> ... If only there was some sort of tool that could be used to detect tunnelers, then I wouldn't need to use dangerous untested spells on myself to check.))

Mention my concerns about decoys and tunnelers to the guards. Use an apprentice level spell to enhance/specialize one of my ears for detecting sounds passing through objects. Then lie down with the ear against the ground and try to listen for the sounds of tunneling.

Go help defend the temple district.
If possible to do while traveling, make sure my belt is charged.
