We're already all waiting around in limbo while you assemble everything.
Fair enough.

Current roster is:

Vazastar (Asilidae)
Torgjer (Nirur)
Cinaedica (Errol)
Selina (RangerCado)
Olivier (Ochita)
Varden (Chink)
Al (Sarrak)
Karla (Samarkand)

Selection was brutally difficult in a lot of cases; there were maybe three character sheets I wasn't really fond of for various reasons, a handful who sort of got in immediately, and then a lot of cycling through groups of characters to figure out who I liked most and would best round out the party.

Presumably everyone else will be randomly shuffled onto the waitlist. I could also potentially have the waitlist be orderless, and randomly roll when there's an opening.

Honestly, not surprised I didn't make it. The sheets directly after me outwrote me by about a page.

The waitlisters might find this a useful tool.

Noooooooooooo...worries. We'll just cheer for the bad guys and wait until IO's trademark deadliness kicks in, just like you're supposed to do when waitlisted.

I'm cool with it. People will start dying sooner or later. Meanwhile, their fumbling attempts to stay alive will buy me time to examine the system for exploits.
That said, a word of advice for the new players: if some comrade of yours gets turned into a mindless abomination of meat and weed, kill them immediately. You can't bring them back, and you'll kill the game trying. Irony's games get really boring when players start collectively bashing their heads against a wall.

@IO: I suggest using a shuffled waitlist rather than a disordered one. That way, people know whose character is going to be up next, so the new player will be ready for the game when their predecessor dies.

Honestly, not surprised I didn't make it. The sheets directly after me outwrote me by about a page.
That's not it. I'm pleased to say that the biggest graphomaniacs in the list didn't make it, either. There are games where walls of text are a good thing, and there are games where they are out of place. Irony's games usually go into the latter category.

What are limits of the types of material Conjuration can make? Could I make any material I could conceivably think of, or would I have to find a way for my character to know about that material? And, for that matter, what kinds of things can I assume my character knows?

Wow. Unexpected...

But still, HmH is probably right. Being one of the first implies being one of the first to die.

I should've written my items earlier (and shouldn't have been confused by the new sheet format xD)

What are limits of the types of material Conjuration can make? Could I make any material I could conceivably think of, or would I have to find a way for my character to know about that material? And, for that matter, what kinds of things can I assume my character knows?
The main limit to Conjuration is that it's basically worthless without supporting schools to draw from. You could summon adamantite or nitroglycerin or dragon blood in theory, but you'd need not just a way to know about it, but a way to understand it well enough to actually conjure it.

Plus, of course, the Conjuration skill to pull off such a potentially advanced material.

In terms of what your character knows... wizards who can and do pierce the veil of reality to gaze upon, travel to, or bring forth things from other dimensions aren't exactly common, but they're common enough that if some sort of caged abomination were to suddenly appear in the middle of the street, pretty much everyone would think "Oh, a wizard's doing things they shouldn't. Again." Similar tendencies apply to most other fields.

So put simply, there's a lot of weird stuff you probably shouldn't know about that you conceivably could because wizards. If you have more specific questions about how much you probably know about wine or cloth or construction without wizard interference, feel free to ask, but I got the impression this was more of a "can I invent gunpowder" sort of question.

Speaking of which, bear in mind that knowing of something is different than knowing how it works. Just because some crazy wizard gave you a dreamwalking potion that let you see explosive black powder being used on a different plane doesn't mean you're likely to understand how to make (or conjure) it.
