Submitted my turn like 30 minutes ago or something. GMR just popped up and said it's my turn again. I'm busy, GMR, go away.

GMR debug log is full of exceptions going back to 3/31, with another from 2/5. How reassuring. #sarcasm

Welp, might as well do an update.

1. I have two active barbarian encampments near me, my scout almost got killed by one of the brutes. My grand army is already working on destroying one of them, and should do it next turn.
2. I am the "Goddess of Protection" guy. Ruin's gave me pottery (which I was researching, but whatever), and built the shrine immediately. Then I met a religious city state, which made it simple.
3. As I have me Myroc and Shadowlord, both to my north, I think we can assume that I am the southmost of everyone on the continent.
4. I also, I believe, have the most tech at the moment, seeing that 2 out of the 5 ruins I popped were tech.

Yeesh. IIRC I found 1 ruin, appear to be surrounded by city-states and/or other players' cities, have only one warrior, no scouts, and no buildings, and there's a barbarian right next to my city, standing on the hill I wanted to build a mine on (He showed up the same turn I finished my worker).

I know I voted for raging barbarians, but AAAGH, BARBARIANS! I have two camps of them on both sides of me, and and everytime I kill one another walks into my city. I've had to buy a warrior because otherwise my worker is just going to get nabbed once I make him.

You're not alone. I finished my worker several turns ago, but he's just chilling in my city, because I've got two barbarians standing next to my city (It was three, but I bombarded one to death with just my undefended city). What baffles me is that they aren't attacking the city. They're just standing next to it, blocking tiles and keeping my worker from coming out, while my only warrior is several screens away.

Barbs don't attack cities without a huge numerical advantage, and possibly tiles to pillage.

If they're not going to commit suicide on my walls, you would at least think they would also be smart enough to stand out of range of the fortifications.

Edit: City health reduced... Barbarian health reduced... I can deduce that they attacked this turn, but the attack was not shown to me.

That is one thing I asked some time back.

Is there a possibility to see NPC and other players moves/actions in HotSeat-Mode?

Unfortunately, that is not an option for Hotseat Games. The one major flaw of the system, and it forces you to look at demographics and other information to figure out what is going on.

Also, I found Totes Venice. I declared War instantly.

is this a problem for more people than you...because atm we are very slow...nearly a week for one turn. perhaps it is because the notification problem or do the time zone laying so bad?

I don't think it's a time zone thing, because we get two days.

When you turn on the computer, does GMR execute automatically or do you have to turn it on manually? Because it won't give a notification if it's not running.

You have to turn it on. And it broke for me, and won't turn on at all. And I don't get email notifications, it seems.

Yeah, I keep forgetting to start it after rebooting (or after windows updates, or after shutting it down because it's popping up "IT'S YOUR TURN" notifications when I just submitted my turn), and the only email notification I get is "You were skipped!"

But I think I turned email notifications off (I think the setting for it is on the website), so...
