Ordinary Children Adventures - SIGN-UPS [9/8]
« Reply #30 on: March 28, 2014, 08:15:03 am »

Yeah, KJ and I are the only ones playing children chronologically speaking. Then again children is in quotes, so... :P

Pretty much, yeah. The children part of the title is just as valid as the ordinary part...

(because I expect that the limit will be raised to  8 now,  if it isn't : 3)

Yep, the limit is now 8 instead of 6, and sign-ups are now closed..

Anyways, the character sheets all seem to check out (GUNIN needs to change their colour though, since Kj has already claimed purple). Since we have an extra applicant, I'll be going over all the sheets and picking which sheets I like and are going to join the game. Afterwards I'll start on the first turn, and people can pick their spot on the character wheel then, just to cut down on any confusion. Sounds like a plan?

Have you purged the unworthy yet?

Yeah, I have. Just working on the first little bit, but being sick and lazy isn't helping matters. Sorry about that.

Actually, one question. Does mind bleach work on my own character?

Yes, it does actually. Which is probably a good thing.

Once I remake it, sure.
Probably tomorrow, since it's pretty late now.

Considering 8 players have been added to OP, seems you might be out of time, GWG.

Ordinary Children Adventures - MORNING, 7 DAYS LEFT
« Reply #41 on: March 29, 2014, 03:24:59 pm »

It is January 14th of 20XX. It is seven days until the next Super Bowl, where the Earlton Robins will be facing off against the Scanorian Buffalos. As perfectly ordinary children you at least pretend to feign interest into the Super Bowl and football. As you all wake up, you notice that you have received a cellular message from MOTHER.

"Good morning child, remember that MOTHER loves you. I will be away on a business meeting until the evening, but I expect you all to work on your CEAs as if I was still here. Remember, MOTHER is always watching."

Of course MOTHER isn't your real mother/parent/creator, but she took you all in and nurtured you as if she was, so you all have a special place in your heart/blood-pumping organ/grey matter/memory banks for her. MOTHER has very particular views on education, and as such doesn't believe in the public school system, which stifles children's creativity and forces them to explain why they vomited up vast quantities of blood or electrocuted little Jimmy or suddenly grew a third eye instead of nurturing them as they need. As such MOTHER has organized Children Enrichment Activities, or CEAs, to allow her children to grow and develop in their own special way.

Creative writing, yay. Still feeling a bit out of it, so I'll vomit more words out next update.

Anyways, for CEAs all I need from you guys is a post saying which CEA you'll be participating in for this timeslot, and what stat you'll be increasing, if any. Note that only one child can participate in one CEA at a time, which isn't too bad given the number of CEAs that exist. And of course, if someone takes a CEA that you want, you can always negotiate with them in the thread. In the future I'll ask for your CEA choices in chunks (ie. more than one at a time) just to speed things up. For now we'll just take it slowly so that we don't make any mistakes.

While I'm being lazy you guys are free to RP and talk in the thread as much as you want. I wouldn't mind or complain. Ask feel free to ask questions, etc. etc.

Kyle takes Japanese animes increasing magicana and charmitude while gaining Kuudere.

Kyle makes a cute yawn.
"Aw... I wanted to go back to bed... well, eating will be just as fun."

((Number one please.))

Because I should formally say this:

kj1225, GiglameshDespair, Remuthra, Fniff, SeriousConcentrate, GUNINANRUNIN, Scapheap, and Wwolin are all in!

Since I bumped up the limit from 6 players to 8, you all will have the opportunity to pick your places on the character wheel again. Sorry about that, I just need a number from 1 to 8 that hasn't been picked by another player. If you're feeling lazy, just pick the one from when you signed up.
