This, I guess. With what, though?

Well, lets first give the remaining-behind skeleton orders to avoid people. If it has to, fight, but never lead them back to us.

Lets animate the corpses we have already.

Kill goats and carry them to the cave in several trips.

I would have suggested taking (read: killing and raising) just one goat and releasing the rest to make it look like place was attacked by some animal and the guy was eaten, but I don't know if that is plausible anymore since hut has been cleaned...

I think killing two goats and animating one with stored mana and carrying the other back to our cave, then releasing the rest. We can't kill and raise them all now, and waiting there is too dangerous since someone can walk on us at any moment.

Edit: Take different route back to our cave this time, so it's harder to track us.

The Plains of Grating, Fifth Age
The Age of Death, Year 625

Day 7, Evening

For a while you entertain the notion of constructing some kind of trap, to fend of any passer-bys that might stumble upon or visit the cave. While you do think of a few simple mechanisms, you lack the resources and tools to build them. You also remember that some advanced wards could repel intruders, but face the same problem as before. There just isn't anything viable you can do at the moment.

Before you descend again, you pack the rope and tinderbox into the emptied saddlebags, while the geode wanders into one of your pockets. You guess they will stay there, as they really could come in handy in multiple ways. The ring is also drained of its mana, and you are on your way. Nothing happens, and you arrive to see that the skeleton has done its work. The smell will probably linger a while longer, but with the door open there is not much more you can do about that part.

+20 MP

There are two bucks, fourteen does and three kids in the pen. You climb on top of the surrounding wall, and after a fair bit of struggling one of the does is ended by your sword. After drawing it out by its horns, you clean the corpse, draw the circle and cast the spell. Somehow it already feels like routine to you, a bit odd given that this is only the third time you remember doing this. Either way, you are successful in your endeavour.
-25 MP
You have gained a new servant.

About four goats easily could be transported by the horse, and you wager that you and the skeleton could also carry one each. Obviously only if they are dead, and more if you would clean them first. Either way, it is not long until dusk, which also means that travelling by foot has less dangers.

Why did we raise a goat instead of, you know, the actually useful dead guy?

Goat Mascot.

I think we should do several trips though to get all the goats.

Raising the goat cost half as much as raising the guy would, and we didn't have enough mana for that.

Hang around the house until Dusk. Then kill moar goat and haul as much as you can back to the cave under cover of darkness.

Let the remaining live goats free... We should stop pressing our luck with that house after this.

Don't carry a goat yourself - just to be safe, you know? Plan a small party for you and your skeleton to celebrate a successful... Should we call this a raid?

If we get in trouble, dropping a goat shouldn't be hard.

+1, nice as a goat hoard sounds our luck may not last more than a few days.
