The game is beginning.
(Each turn will be divided into three sections. Alien, Predator, Human. Each section will be separated into individual players. Once you lot post some actions, this will look a lot different, but until then, it's mostly wall of text. Good luck, and I hope you enjoy.)

Aliens
Rieker's Island was built on a mostly dormant volcano. Ancient lava tubes honeycomb the entirety of the island, forming a vast cavern network that was home to surprising amounts of life, from stray deer sleeping in the cave entrance over night, to the hordes of bats that call some of the caves home. A new predator has arrived to disrupt the delicate ecosystem within the caves. The first facehuggers found cattle, deer, and in one case, an old hermit, to plant their embryo within. The resulting larval xenomorphs then grew rapidly, rampaging through the undergrowth and devouring everything they could catch. Soon, they molted, and molted again, until they were full grown monsters. They used their peculiar communication methods to establish a meeting place, where the dominant matriarch took control and started secreting the hormones to transform her into a true monarch.
Within a week, the monarch was reproducing, and her small swarm was growing. The islands were rich with life, and anything more than twenty pounds or so could support an embryo. Most of the underlings were near-mindless, only obeying the diktats of their queen and their own biology, but some were different... Some were... Special. They hunted alone, and heeded the Queen's command reluctantly. They spent time around their prey, learning their ways...
You are one of these Xenomorphs. You begin in a volcanic cave that is overgrown with Xenomorph resinous secretions. You are currently in a secondary egg chamber, with several other xenomorphs. You can explore the cave system some more, or go out onto the surface of the island and hunt and study your prey. Not only that, but Xenomorphs are excellent swimmers, and their biology doesn't require breathing as we know it, so you could also explore the ocean.

Predator
Long have you awaited this day, to stand aboard this ship, ready to hunt. You have worked for it, bled for it, fought for it. And now it is your time. It is your time to prove yourself worthy of ascending to the higher callings that only an adult can aspire to. With your admittedly basic equipment, it will be a true challenge to hunt the vicious Xenomorphs, but you are certain you can succeed. The Elder looks to you next, his eyes piercing the depths of your skin, seeing how the blood settles in your veins. If there was any fear in your heart, he could see it, but at this moment, there was none. You stand today as an aspirant, but you will return as a full warrior of your race. The Elder nods at you gravely, and you step forward into the individual drop vehicle. It seals behind you with a quiet click, and after a short moment, a sudden rumble shook through the pod, then the force of acceleration pushed you up, towards the ceiling...
All the Predators land together (roughly, within a few hundred feet of one another) in the jungle, near a large outcropping that the locals called the Hunter's Totem. You can meet up with each other if you want, or merely proceed into the jungle as you please. Just like the Xenomorphs, you have your run of the island, although you don't know where the humans or Xenomorphs are located. What do you do?

Humans
Natives- The Tribal Elders have sent out word to all the hunters, to all the stalkers, to all members of all the tribes. The Falling Star was an omen, an ancient omen, that spoke of coming turbulence and death. The Sheet of Stars that came soon after only confirmed what the Elders had suspected. All the tribes were to prepare for the coming of something terrible. The leader of your tribe has sent you as an emissary to the White Man port shanty to see if you can find some sort of help for your people, but you might have other ideas...
Pirates- After your last venture onto the seas, the crew voted to enjoy the bountiful plunder for three months. It's been two and a half months, and now you're about out of coin to spend, so you need to find something worthwhile to do. Word has come down about the Governor banning any outgoing ships, so it sounds like you might have to wait even longer to get your next voyage going. Perhaps the island has some natural wealth to exploit. Whatever you decide to do, sitting in the tavern wishing you had more coin isn't going to help...
White Men- You have been sent a letter, ostensibly from the Governor, Archibald Rieker himself, but more likely from his secretary. It is informing you, as a citizen of Rieker's Island, that no vessels are being allowed to leave, for undisclosed reasons. Any vessels attempting to leave the island will be fired upon by the two military vessels that guard the island from ne'er-do-wells. You are also to be aware that no one is to travel the jungle without an official escort, although this order is not to be backed up with lethal force, merely probable jail time. Most of the less adventurous inhabitants of the isle take these instructions to heart, but you are a more curious sort. You want to know what is behind this, whether you have to wring the truth from the Governor himself, or find it out in the jungle...
