I'd argue that any avatar is permissible that has the characteristics usually associated with white-beardedness.

And Oldness. And Honorability. We should probably be complaining more about the others though, and speak about high culture, not the kind of garbage young people do these days. I've been hooked on Brahms all day, wonderfully calming.

I'm Cthulhu... and my white beard is so old that it's invisible. Plus, Cthulhu is definitely ancient. Does that count?

What ho, old chaps? As my avatar also clearly has a white beard, it satisfies 75% of the criteria (Old White Bearded Avatar) and so I shall sit in this comfy chair and why yes I would care for a drop of claret, thank you my good man.
