Plus, he's erratic, so you only need about 550.000 XPs to level him to the top. Can we afford the 7700$?

Now? No.

What would we do with a max level feebas anyway?

I think I will just toss him in the daycare and forget about him - maybe we can use him on the final four. :P

For something like this, 7700$ is a worthy investment. Always.

Have you found the daycare yet? Are you playing on emulator? I demand that you put Feebas in the daycare, then let a script running up-and-down run overnight, and get our lvl 100 Feebas back. Then we can keep it in a box, until we have to fight that girl again, to impress them. :p
...
That's just not in the spirit of a Nuzlocke, actually I would be fine with it if you weren't planning on using it against another person, even if she did kill DIO..... DIO why?!?... Oh my god DIIIIIIIIIOOOOO!!.
Ahem, But seriously, dump that stupid fish there and ignore it for the rest of the game.

With my time massively underleveled, I decided to commit some time to grinding in the grass south of Cerulean. It was a bit more dangerous there than north of town, and I had a few close calls (even had to use a potion once before BAHH went down to a bellsprout), but progress was, in fact, made. EPU learned Stun Spore and Poison powder and Sleep Powder (forgetting String Shot and Tackle), every gained a few levels. I told R Mihnik *not* to learn poison powder, instead keeping the moves he had.

SirUseless, praise the gods, did something I didn't even think wss possible - he learned an attack. I am now completely confident that he will be a dominating force in no time. This still left him, currently, unable to take down a lv13 Pidgey, but hey! Progress is progress.

Here's the current state of our team:

Note that I dumped the rage-fish in the daycare, so we can immediately add whatever we find on the other side to our party.

Am I ready to go, or should I spend more time (blech) grinding?

Going a bit further, and THEN grinding, is also an option.

Final Note: I really, really miss Q. Dio was a pretty useless rat, but Q was a damn good bird. :(

Butterfree with powder moves and Compoundeyes is pretty much amazing. Looks like that team should be able to hold their own for a while.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Which, if any, of the powders should I keep/drop, btw?

Sleep should probably stay. Poison is too slow and can go fuck itself. IDGAF about paralysis.

Also, the stats for all of our pokemon seem to be "middling" at best (except magikarp, whom I didn't bother checking to be honest).

Every time I catch a 'mon from now on, I'll make sure to post one of these right away as well as the "spread" for the sort of stats that mon can have at 0 EVs.

Sleep is necessary, especially since with Compoundeyes that's something like a 97% hit rate. Poison can be good for wearing down threats you don't have another way to beat (although in a Nuzlocke something like that is probably something you want to avoid). Paralysis is mostly inferior to sleep if both have the same success rate. I'd vote to just keep sleep as far as this run goes. That way you get to use Dream Eater too!

Can Butterfree learn Dream Eater?

EDIT: Yes. Yes it can. Once you get Cut and go through Diglett's Cave, your immediate objective is to talk with the guy in Viridian who teaches it.
