So who all has played Tactics? Tactics Advance (2)?

I've only played the original Tactics for the PSX.

I've played FFT:A three times now, and read a LP of FFT. However I expect the game to lean more towards Fire Emblem in its gameplay, so we'll see how helpful my knowledge is.

Played Advance and A2, though I've read a PS Tactics LP though.

Not played any, though I think I got the basic concepts.

From what I've heard people prefer FFT to FFT:A, but I can't weigh in on that one having only played FFT.

I think it's because FFT has a far more solid and serious storyline, compared to the slightly nonsensical one from FFTA. Also FFTA's law system, which is pure pain (done much better in A2).

You mean the utterly stupid one from FFTA. Didn't make the game any less fun though.

Though the extent of which I know of FFT is the wiki, I'm trying to go for somewhere in the middle, if you've noticed.

Also, as a note for you guys, Judges are a bit harsher, but also a bit more helpful, in this version of Ivalice. They're also more random, though that wasn't always the case...

I just remembered that samurai were in FFT and now I kinda want to play as one. :|

Though if I remember correctly, they were a very silly class since their ability ran off of their magic stat, which they had terrible growths in. But still...

Parivir is supposedly the equivalent, but that's one of the things I called bullshit on.

Samurai is a separate standard job, for the moment. If someone new comes in, and Samurai seems fitted to be their Unique Job, then it'll be theirs, unfortunately.

I honestly kinda want to change my class right now, but I'm not entirely sure if I should or not. Blah. For some reason I really like samurai now.

Oh, I don't know if you guys noticed, but I started the Job database. Only has Spellthief up so far, though.

I play both Advances, but not finished either. Currently playing A2.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Job Database complete for the moment. Went fairly quickly once I got rolling, but with 8 jobs to do, still took an hour or so.
