Shaman should enshroud itself.
The rest attack incredibly fast guy with all their might.
Goblin should cower in fear behind the cart, and only attack the party if they are almost done.

We don't know that they are generic.
If they weren't, why would they look like blank white people?

And the healer ability doesn't have to come through a weapon or tool, it could just be raw magic without a channeling device.
1. Healers are typically associated with certain implements.
2. Even so, they rarely wield, say, lasers or daggers. Like, basically never.

In any case though, I figure the humans don't trust the goblin enough, and figured that three of the adventurers could handle the kobolds alone, and left the fourth to guard us.
So let's not prove them right.
Goblin: Never attack! Just...kinda stand still.

The goblin should actually hid under the wagon, that way if we win the fight against the other three, the goblin can quickly stab the fourth in the ankles and drop him for the others.

The adventurer shoots Szzrit in the leg with his pistol! ((?) vs. 2) He deals 2 damage!

It is now Dak the Goblin's turn.

Goblin should cower in fear behind the cart, and only attack the party if they are almost done.

The goblin cowers in fear!

It is now the adventurer who stayed back at the carts' turn. After his turn, it will be Rikrit and Rikrin's turns, so you can start discussing them now.

The adventurer who stayed with the cart comes over to comfort Dak.

Isn't that nice of him. How do you respond?

Rikrin and Rikrit move to attack the pistolier! (3, 1 vs (?)) They collectively deal 4 damage! The pistolier appears to be in critical condition!

It is now the guy with the magic looking blue knife's turn, followed by the merchant's turn, after which it will be Szzrit's turn. ((I assume he's going to get revenge for the laser to the leg?))

Woo! Illustrations make it a lot easier to comprehend, at least for me.

Have Dak keep cowering, and thank the man. When Szzrit gets his turn, murderalize the gun-toting jerk.

Goblin: tell a joke
THAT IS COMPLETELY OUT OF CHARACTER FOR SOMEONE COWERING UNDER A WAGON

If we act as comic relief, it gives us a legitimate narrative reason to be there. If a story introduces a character which then proceeds to do nothing whatsoever, the reader is going to expect that the character is going to become relevant later, but if the character entertains the reader and controls the mood of the book, the character does not need any further justification for its presence.
