After rewatching, the back unit, the head and the ability to transform are where it's similar to a Mathuss. The torso, arms and legs look just like Zeta Gundam's. I like the pulse vulcans, those are awesome. :-D

EDIT: Well at least it looked and sounded like they were some kind of beam pulse weapon, but the wiki tells me they were just 60mm! :c

What was that Neo Zeon guy who got wrecked outside the colony flying? I love me a Zaku, and the head looked awesome. Some kind of command model? It seemed dated judging by his weapons, but his armor took a beating when the ReZELs were slashing him with their beam sabers.

Just finished episode 4, and wow is the drama is really played up in this. Fuck me sideways if Links isn't a bigger crybaby than Amuro Ray ever was. It's made all the more painful by how fantastic the action is between anyone who isn't a main character.
