No offense but I'll be straightforward here: What we had done leaves little error to mention, as well as being quite the show of colors. If any doubt may still exist, we can cross-check and follow up, leaning heavily on the Infallible Alignment Cop for safety.
When we had the Converter, it changed from a race against time to a race against an entity. Its growth was hindered, and without the secrecy and subterfuge that it had to protect itself, the way was clear for mostly everyone--who had proven themselves in the trials beforehand.

Sure, there'd be losses, but the aiming of the firefight was now more focused.
