There were two serious candidates for burning: Tiruin, a mystery wrapped up in an echidna; and the man from Death Sword,* Persus the 13th.

Tiruin had a +2 racial hatred of soot demons and her 10% resistance to natural heat was insufficient to save her from death by immolation, as such she requested that they reconsider matters some more.

Persus the 13th, stoic as always, remained silent.

*Though some insisted, gramatically speaking, it was pronounced 'sweared'.
