I guess I didn't explicitly say why I recycled Tack in that post, so I will restate it one final time and then never again.

Tack contributed absolutely nothing on day one.  He spent the whole time making meta-comments about how confusing the game was, then decided to explicitly not vote.  He then, apropos of basically nothing, claimed Blatant Infallible Cop.

This action makes no sense for an actual cop - it gives the mafia information that could render your role useless.  Also, he could easily have come forward on the next day with an actual result if he was really one.  It does, however, make sense for a mafia member who really doesn't want anyone interfering with their action.  Such as a converter, who is someone we really, really, really need to get rid of as fast as possible.

TDS or Objective are scum.  Leafsnail or Tiruin are scum.  And someone else is scum.  Let's just lynch someone we know is scum and hope they aren't the converter.

What were Objective's...
Objective is scum.  All those built up points could easily be used for a convert, and TDS would never know about it.

He only has 6 (and he won't get another tonight due to denseness). I say that we should see if we can decide who the converter is (and LS has good reasoning to leave him alive, even if he is scum)

Tiruin: I agree that we should lynch the converter. Earlier, I was unsure, but I now suspect Tawarochir, especially since he hasn't claimed.

Tawa: Could you please claim? Also, why are you so defensive of Leafsnail? Could you explain why you think he's simply scumhunting?

First, claim what? Miller? I'm not miller, I thought it would be a bad idea.
Second, defensive? I'm not trying to be defensive, if that's what you're getting at.
Also, um, I was using my horrible-as-heck gen 1 kindle when I said that, and just hitting links is hard there. I didn't want to go back and look for quotes.

Sorry! RL happened. And you people are so chatty!

I'll go ahead and claim, although that might not be the best idea. I took the Infallible Alignment cop. I spent all of my six points on it last night. I then used it to inspect Leafsnail, who is scum. I inspected him because I was most suspicious of him at D1 end.

Leafsnail
@ bolded part: Freudian slip, my friend? Are you not town?
No.  I don't even see what the slip is meant to be.
...bolded part? Where you claimed that Tiruin was "misleading the town." You didn't say "us" or something of a similar nature. You said "the town," implying that you aren't town yourself. The implied slip is that you're putting yourself in a different group. Like... y'know... the scum you are.

Jack:
MyOwnWorstEnemy: How strongly do you feel about that the statement of Leafsnail's that you found suspicious in your post today?  Why no vote?  Scumpicks and why?
I found it fairly suspicious and worth questioning, but not enough to vote him. Although with my inspection, I think it's worthwhile to vote him.

How's about thinking.

Claim what?
CLAIM WHAT?!
HAVE YOU BEEN PAYING ANY ATTENTION TO THE MASSCLAIM AND WHY IN THE WORLD THERE ARE CLAIMS?!
*hammers caps lock*
Claim your everything or state why you AREN'T claiming your role!

Oh right. You're 'not' being defensive.
...
Are you going to explain that (and refute that accusation or at least give light to it? If someone accuses you--you can't just say 'I'm not being x' unless it's really a horrendous accusation).

Also :/
You could just state the reply # in lieu of quoting.

Though...I do recall you had something to talk about earlier? Wait, that was only that you didn't pick Miller, yeah?

Yeah, I've got a lot more reason to believe MOWE than Leafsnail.

I'd vote you if I could.
Leafsnail.
Die.

No, we target the converter because he's a slippery fish. Let 4mask (you're the dude with the infallible NK right?) kill one of those dudes. Unless he can get converted oh wait. Both in order of action AND probability of lynch...

Anyone remember the Timecount?

@Leafsnail: I see you dropped your earlier accusations about me lying, huh.
No, not at all.  It's just that the argument with you became an unreadable mess and there was no point in continuing it if no-one else will pay attentionActually that also applies to this post so I will just make a few general responses.

- I didn't "suspect" that you lied, I presented clear evidence that you misled the town.  As for why it was suspicious: you did not (and really, still have not) explained to my satisfaction why you did so.  In the absence of any plausible town motivation I will pick the scum one instead.
::)
K.

There's no point in really continuing something as glaring as that scumtell on me.
Let's not comment on what I did really say anyway because nobody is paying attention.
It's not like people will read back and OMG TIRUIN ACTUALLY FORGOT AND LIED DESPITE HER HAVING BLATANT! :O
I mean, surely, for restatement, we're assuming the evil instead of the anythingelse when we're seeing the motive despite her saying clearly otherwise! Oh no, let's take it from the viewpoint of 'Tiruin is flailing and wording her words poorly thus Tiruin is scum'.
I love that generalization! :D

I love how passive aggressively stubborn and spiteful you can get with your words.

Quote
- I don't understand why you saying I'm "backing off" should make me react in any way.
Dude, that's me saying you stopped commenting at all when I continued it.
Like you're taking too much flak to continue your scumreads. Like, when you started talking back to Tack.
Quote
- Tack has not to my knowledge presented a single good point in this entire game - I invite you to prove me wrong.  Well ok, he presented a couple only to immediately contradict them afterwards.
He's being individualistic.
We've 3 voices speaking against the Town, causing discord, reaping chaos and more preferably trying to add the misinterpretation to information as subtle as they can. His actions, while...true in what you say (though untrue that he didn't do any good point), stand to reason that he is non-scum due to the premise in how he posts, what he posts, and his motives behind him posting.

Quote
- There were three sappers in the game, two claimed.  So yes I thought it was likely that an unclaimed scum had sapped me because I couldn't see any reason for mastahcheese to do it.  I mean if scum had a sap why wouldn't they go for the easy 8 points (although according to TDS apparently the last sapper is Objective and he picked a really bizarre and terrible loadout).
So claimants for sap (AFAIR)
> Leafsnail
> mastahcheese
> Objective
Will post on this later...

*heavy sigh*
Did you read at all what I said regarding this case and regarding TACK on it and regarding the COP role?!
Because I DO believe it goes against the first quote you said here.

Unvote, MyOwnWorstEnemy.  Wow I guess the scumteam really does want me dead.

Too bad for you that you're very obviously lying.  If you've known for a 100% fact that I'm scum since the start of the day then why didn't you, say, vote me instead of making one completely toothless attack?  Why was I your most suspicious player when your last post of day one was admitting that your vote on me was based entirely on a misreading of the rules?

...bolded part? Where you claimed that Tiruin was "misleading the town." You didn't say "us" or something of a similar nature. You said "the town," implying that you aren't town yourself. The implied slip is that you're putting yourself in a different group. Like... y'know... the scum you are.
This is a ridiculous stretch.  People refer to "the town" instead of "us" all the time.  If you really, honestly think of this as a scumtell then there are tonnes of other posts in this game that you should have flagged up, including
You know what? I bet the people who choose the meanest power combinations won't be the scum, it'll be the town.
and
Tiruin: Do you think that Bloodthristy is beneficial for the town?
and
Not really. Looking at the role list it's hard to say that any particular combination will screw the town up in a negative way. Maybe I'm not just thinking hard enough.
and so on.  The idea that you decided to use such a weak attack when you apparently a) already had reason to suspect me from the previous day and b) knew that I was scum with complete certainty is laughable.

MyOwnWorstEnemy, not sure how I messed up the colour tag.

One more question: why are you claiming now?  I am confirmed to not be the converter, and therefore not the person who the town really needs to lynch today.  Why did that fact make the idea of claiming more palatable?

Err, not to burst your bubble, but this is D2.
That is D1.

Also everyone: Leafsnail explained himself earlier (and probably forgot, himself :I) here.

And on that note on people forgetting--I didn't see any reply to this thing, LS.  :-\

I've to point out that the semantics of using the word 'town' (including the words that make up that sentence) are different. This is what I meant by you saying 'explicitly town'.

...Now I'm forgetting my English termnology >_> but anyways: the usage of 'town' in the last 3 parts are as a generality--pointing towards nobody in essence being affected or specified and rather, the idea or the notion of the town. (Um.. note the article here. Can't probably word it better...)
I fail in English forever.
What you did in talking to me in misleading people, you mentioned a sample of the portion instead of the more common possessive stance. It's pointing to the generality, but not including the self in it--while I was motioning with myself to brush that off, it would also include you in it by due logic because you were also along the notion, in that context, that you were misled.

...So that's as best as I can explain the difference.

Err, Leaf? That's her only post for today.
