nope.  Only kills.  Which should probably be changed, because as it stands they are basically worthless, seeing as how it doesn't cost that much to circumvent it.

If you wanted to hear from the playerslot so badly why are you shortening (well, trying to shorten) now that he's just told you he can't say anything?  Oh right it's because you don't actually give a shit about who you're lynching.

Also games with soft-hammers aren't going to have shortens.  If the town has made a decision then there'll be a hammer.

If he has no defense for himself, then we can't get anything out of him, true.  But it isn't that we don't give a shit, we just know that there is a low chance of getting a replacement before day end.  Thus, we just vote for a shorten, since the result will happen either way.

That's rather true, except for a hypothetical late game situation where the town has lynched the converter and inflated convert.  In that case, kill is a better mafia choice to try and turn the game around.
