I'm biased by favoring some few relying on asking for a replacement as a tactical retreat. But let me expound on that matter of replacement.
You are nervous. You are unsure. You fear the reaction of others.
You feel bad at Mafia. You have low self-esteem. You fear failure or lacking comprehension.
You are afraid to be misinterpreted. You falter under the veil of scrutiny or paranoia.
Well, let me explain why we play Mafia. None of us are heroes. None of us are exalted beings of rhetoric, tact or wordplay, but we try. If any of the above are your reasons for getting out of Mafia, then we won't stop you--but word for posterity: do not play and back out of fear. Play to conquer that fear. You fail, you get up, you learn.
You only fail if you don't learn. Losing is never failing.
You may suck--but that doesn't mean you holistically suck, just a small aspect which you somehow inflate to make it bigger than what you can withstand. Whatever the etymology of sucking is, I will never understand why it's such a valid reason to be used in
any context of giving up.
But let me speak in words you can understand: So what if you suck? We all did. And we all still probably will.
That doesn't stop us from learning from it, and we only stop learning when we choose to back out.
And to appease any bad intentions, I put on my conductor cap and drive the guilt train.
I'm sorry, I have just too much stuff going on and I can't do this as its towards the bottom of my priority list.
Replacement list. Sorry NQT.

Soo...shorten? >_>
Unless anyone else wants to speak in the span of the days we've spent, resting, that is.
