Altmoring acepted Colt's help and climbed the wall. Just as others jumped down on the other side, Altmorin followed, and then the worst possible thing happened.

A small, wooden door at the side of the building opened, and a young maiden with a basket of laundry came out. She froze mid-step when she noticed all the inflitrators.

"Plea-" Altmorin gritted his teeth as the laundry basket fell onto ground.

"HELP! HELP! INTRUDERS! Enemy agents! Thieves! Heeelp!" The maiden shouted fervently, dissappearing back inside the mansion.

"Why today..." The horseman asked himself and the nodded toward others. "Let's go, the Baron is somewhere inside. If we kill him, we will wring the neck of the rebellion!"

"There's one!" A swordsman pointed at Cidney and the guards rushed down the corridor.

Meanwhile, deeper inside the mansion...

The man in fancy cloak looked at the visage of a helmeted soldier that was showing up inside the ring of green fire.

"...yes, I can see that. Retreat to the Twin Hills and mount a defense there. Is Eric with you?"

"My condolences, sir, but last time anyone have seen him was when the Prince's army began to push on our lines. No doubt he is either captured, or dead." The nobleman's face turned dark.

"Have you at least killed Prince Asoth?"

"Err, there are few witnesses who saw the Rivan banner fall so he got at least wounded, but we didn't-"

"What kind of soldiers you are if you can't even confirm if the commander of enemy forces is dead!" The noble slammed his fist against the table in fury, and then waved his hand at nearby sage. The ring of fire flickered and vanished.

"Where's Callix?"

"Lady Callix was seen leaving the mansion and heading for the northern hills, sire."

"Not only I lose one of my sons, and the Prince might still be alive, but now Callix is missing! First she urges me take up arms and now goes missing when I need her the most. Dammit all. Prepare a visage ring, I need to talk with other barons. We might need to evacuate from here."

Both Eleonore and Altmorin moved toward the entrance.
