((IIRC, I should have 1 major act and three forest acts, along with a forest minor act.))
Wolf pondered his creation sadly, for it was not going as he had planned. The elves were too vicious, the treants too lethargic. He would have suspected a force acting against him, but that was preposterous. Who would want to harm his creation. Regardless, it was time to leave.
Then something gave him pause. He realized that he had only scratched the surface of the world, that his creation was only on the surface. Joyfully, he raised his hands, channeling the power of the aether into the planet. Beneath the ground, a massive network of caverns and caves opened up, waiting to be explored. Exulting in the raw power flowing through him, Wolf allowed the cavern system to breach the surface of the ground in a few places, allowing entrance to the caverns.
As the power left him, he willed himself to enter the caverns, examining them. They were baren, but with a twist of power he caused them to fill with glowing mushrooms, perfectly adapted to life underground. Small underground lakes formed, and the walls of the network provided the perfect sustenance for the mushrooms. These mushrooms varied in size, from small, hand sized mushrooms to towering mushrooms the size of trees. Beyond a few small underground creatures, little moved on the floor of the caverns, but Wolf left it that way. It was the perfect place for future work.
As he left the caverns, Wolf willed the local vegetation to grow up around the entrances, concealing them from mortal eyes. With a twist of his will, he concealed their existence from unfriendly immortals, lest someone try to wreak havoc upon his precious world.
No sooner was this completed than a burst of chaos energy washed over the planets, causing the leaves on many of his precious trees to turn purple. Wolf yelled defiance at the chaos god, who stood cackling, sure of his triumph. A second staff appeared in Wolf's hand, and when he extended it towards Discord a massive blast of energy launched forth. A pulse of life energy, supplemented by the chaos of the world, caused blighted trees to grow across the world's surface, twisted and warped by the chaos energies. These trees, few and far between, fed on the raw power of chaos, needing no other form of sustenance. But these trees were not a gift, for their presence was deadly to the spectres. Wolf's rage twisted the life force of the specters, imbuing in them a fascination with the new trees, a compulsion to be near the trees, to touch them. For he knew that while not all spectres would succumb, many would give in to the temptation to touch the trees and perish soon afterwards from the exposure. Wolf rose into the aether once more, glaring across at Havoc. He spoke little, but this affront incited him to speak five words,
This is your last warning.
Split a mighty act, expend three acts to create an extensive underground area under the whole planet, varying in depth, with the listed glowing mushrooms and small creatures. Basically, create the D&D underdark without creatures, as of yet.
Expend two forest acts to hide the underground from other gods
Expend a forest act to create the blighted chaos trees
Expend a forest minor act to create the compulsion in the Spectres.
