I'm taking a class on starting a business, and I need some people in the field of Water Quality to take a survey. If you work in that field, or know someone who does or did, I would really appreciate it if you would take this survey.

The link. DO NOT TAKE UNLESS YOU WORK IN THE FIELD, PLEASE. Edit: that was where I went wrong.
Unless you want to pretend that you do.

Thank you.

Do farmers qualify for working in the field?

Yep.
And I get the pun...

Though, seriously, send it off to farmers if you know any. That'd be amazing.

Guys. When you enter 'No' on the first question, I can't use your results. So dont, even if it's kinda funny.

Whoever answered "looking pretty" for potential uses, congratulations. You made me laugh hard.

Thank you to everyone who took the survey.

What else would you use an autosampler for? Testing water for things other than government brainwashing?

I'd use it for testing fresh groundwater for contamination, recording seasonal levels which might be linked to reservoir conditions, snowmelt, excessive rainfall, and drought.

I live in Norman, Oklahoma, which has truly atrocious water quality. I mean, I don't think it's bad for you...but it sure don't taste good.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I'd probably use one to test the water quality of wherever I happen to be living.

I'm not familiar with auto samplers usage, but I think if it were possible to monitor for changes in water supplies I would use it if it were either a cheap one time purchase or available for use through someone or through local public equipment depots, or state or government subsidy.

For instance I would monitor the pond on the property, the swampy parts as well as tap water. I live in an area that is experiencing a large natural gas and oil extraction industry expansion and having access to things like affordable auto samplers would likely be helpful to me as a small farmer, especially if they were something I could afford multiples of.

I live in Norman, Oklahoma, which has truly atrocious water quality. I mean, I don't think it's bad for you...but it sure don't taste good.

I'll note the local ground water quality in my area judging by taste alone is very good once it's been rendered through the filtration process etc before it comes out the faucet.
