I trust you in being able to play one in an interesting way, but we really shouldn't overdo it.
Especially since I've seen plenty of Xantalos's "chaotic" characters turn omnicidal, either from Turn 1 or when he got bored.
And omnicidal is so cliche.

And yeah. Dualism is nice and all, but a more diverse array of options should be available.

As I said, that was not the final list.  There are most likely going to be changes.

It might not be the final list, but we're kind of arguing that the principle on which your list is based (dualism), is flawed.

You can just switch out all the gods with other ones, but as long as the dualism remains, the complaint remains valid.

Spoiler: Aldremodo (click to show/hide)
Oh whatever, I'll create an application.
Going for the 'darkness is weaker than the Light' deal for this time, due to the Light God being an Elder, and me being a Younger.

You might be surprised by how Duluz interacts with Aldremodo, since Duluz is a very dark-y light god.

In the Gm's list, Duluz is indeed classified as a Dark God. He's looking for a light/knowledge god.

Oh.... Well from the (misread) list, and Duluz description, I had him pegged as the stealthy Light god.
(UV light is kinda of bright, and in a way, is stronger than visible light; just humans can't see it normally)

Just for clarification, I don't mind being an Ascendant if I can't get the position of Younger God.

If you're an Ascendant who can't get the position of Younger God, you're not a very good Ascendant.

You think I'll make it easy?  For the most part, each time they get close, I'm going to throw something huge at them near requiring them to burn a minor act or two.  Granted, that is only if they aren't already deciding to use them to improve the society they are a part of and are hoarding them for the most part.

Hubris. Good quality for an Overgod, I guess...

If they give up because it isn't easy, they aren't very good Ascendants.
