((May be wrong, however, since Haspen specifically said that appointed in this instance was different from adoption, which was used as the method of appointment in the above.  And the alternative was the Five Good Emperors of the Nerva-Antonine dynasty, which falls prey to the same adoption/appointment caveat.  Oh, and the Nerva-Antonine is apparently occasionally broken up into Nerva-Trajan, which was purely adoptive, and the Antonines, of whom the first three - two of which were co-emperors - were adoptive.))
