Np I have  no info so most likely this will come down to me pounding each gang leader into the ground and taking control of his people by force. Once I find the other gangs in town anyway.
I'm tired of talking them into helping me when I could just sieze control. By hiring somebody suitably buff to do the beating for me.

Try to talk gangs into disbanding and joining me, failing that challenge the leaders of each gang to a 1v1 fight for control of said gangs. Beat them down hard but don't kill them. Have my men stand guard in case anybody cheats. If I get injured enough for it to slow me down in a duel don't challenge anyone else.

Continue the fighting and sneaking training of my men and have members of every gang I conquer or recruit join in the training.

Hey Patrick once I can spring you for a few hours would you mind taking out the enforcer chief? I want to try to persuade the mayor to make me minister of justice for the city.

Putting me in control of the enforcers and the jails. I can get him out in the open for a meeting for you to put him down. The Mayor is scared of him so he'd probably thank me for it.

If I can get the job then sure, I can burn your record and hire you no problem and a corrupt police force is no use to me or to the group.

Any police force would mean any and all illegal business
Would have to pay or be thrown into prison by said police force.

It is a VERY usable tool IF acquired.

The only problem I see is the fact that I'm marrying into the biggest crime family in the country and they rule this towns criminal underworld.

Head of the police and son in law to the big honcho of criminals in this town is a bit of a clash. On the other hand it means I can make sure the enforcers never take on my family avoiding the inevitable war that follows armed enforcers taking on a small private army in the middle of town.

But I'm not going to extort, I'm going to stamp out all crime except my family. The gangs can join as enforcers and be part of society or they can join my family but 1 way or another crime is done. That includes criminal activities by you all.
Not counting stealing army supplies and that kind of thing.
