Hrm, ok, maybe it's not actually worth it to buy a staff. You still have plenty of use out of your current one (23 uses should last us a while) and we can get more from our money buying weapons. Other people's thoughts?

Colt was later abashed to find he had been reading books from the Fiction end of the Library, instead of Non-fiction.

...If only I had specced Colt to be a Fire Mage like I originally imagined him to be...

Burn all the books.

Edit: And now reading. Bwahahahaaa! That's what I get to do since Colt is good at this kind of stuff!

Don't think I'm now going to unload a mountain of bonuses from book-reading. This one was special case only :P

Tip: if Haspen gives bonuses it probably means he's going to make your life harder in the next battle :P

Also, that means he'll get S rank if he promotes?

Nah, he just read on material he would learn when magically evolving into unicorn pony Sage :P

He will have it Rank A after promotion. Of course if he decides to get rank A in some other subcategory, then he will have A in that subcat, B in Wind and C in the last one.

Reading is fun! New methods of death all around! :D

It's interesting to note though, it's likely that I won't be able to find a book strong enough in that particular weapon rank for a while. I'll have to make do with C Rank Weapons at best unless Haspen planned ahead. But don't worry. I don't plan on abusing every library I come across. This was a special case since I knew that I sort of plowed through the information phase relatively quickly, and because the library was exceptional. Now I can use that extra time to bother Einar!

On the contrary, the B rank is what supplies Vortex, a Wind Spell that has the range of 1-3. More accurate than a longbow! In addition, MT takes a fairly sizable leap upwards as well of about 2-3 points.

I would also be excited about Lunar Wind, but I believe mages already have a tendency to hit armored units with sufficient "oomph". Besides, I don't know whether that is the path this particular game will go yet. We may never see a knight with considerations that this campaign is a shorter one.

The yellow on the sand is a mite eye-burny. Other than that, looks super.

I like it.

It is perhaps a bit bright, but that's not a bad thing, with considerations that deserts are naturally eyeburny.
