Colt's not a heavy drinker, although he does drink some of the finer wines.

...Please don't make him have to drag either you up the stairs.

Please. Einar will be fine. Also doesn't trust Colt to take care of him.

This makes 3 FEFs so far where alcohol has been had. This should be an upward trend.

On second thought, Colt's putting his chips on the table. I may just roll a D20 to decide whether he gets strongly intoxicated or not though.

Einar's challenging him. I think best way to do this might be con+d20 to see how many drinks it takes to intoxicate someone?

Con+d20?

Jeezus, guys.

d12. Please.

Also:  MWAHAHAHA IT WORKED PERFECTLY

Colt/Einar Rivalry support. Totally legit. Supports are about fighting better when you're near them, right? So they're constantly trying to show each other up in a fight.

Fiiiiiine. Base con +d12. Or d10. Or... hang on, lemme check something.

... Right, lets say they're drinking over three hours, average to get intoxicated is ~5 drinks per hour or so, so average is 15 over three hours, lets say d12.

Rolep: I've been saying Colt/Einar hate support should be a thing. :|

Hey now. Magic flows through Colt and empowers him to both carry heavier books and drinks more alcohol. It's just how the world works.

...Although Rolepgeek does have a point. Still, in the spirit of the thread, I say we let Haspen do the rolling when the time comes around. I'll probably want to RP a bit while drinking. It makes things fun. :P

Naw, I was saying do it now so that we know ahead of time. And I still say base con makes sense, no cheating, this is outside combat, magic doesn't affect things here. Plus he doesn't have his tome. :P

Average to get intoxicated is over 1 drink per hour, really...that's the speed the body metabolises. To get DRUNK is a different matter.

But really, it's just because if Colt rolls a natural 20 I think I'd pee myself laughing. I might not have to change my pants if he rolled a nat 12.

Of course, you could just ignore con entirely and set it at a base to be completely fair(you're both trying to get the advantage here, and that's no nice boys).

Cidney, of course, rolls 3d8 to see how many it takes him.

Tome or no tome, the potential is there. That is like saying a grenade isn't dangerous because it doesn't have the launcher! Or something...

I would hate to see what Jorund would roll though...

The reason I've said con from the start is because con theoretically has some correlation to strength/weight which would in fact affect intoxication. I hadn't even checked cons when I first said that.

Edit: I'm still going to say that the magic isn't going to affect things here. But *shrug* Maybe just roll a base d12.

Fine, I shall compromise. With considerations that either one of us could come ahead with just CON, I propose we do away with it altogether and just see what happens when we roll a 1d12.

Although, I won't promise that I'll intoxicate Colt if he rolls a 1. If that's the case, I may just have him complain that the bear is terrible.
