Well, from his point of view, Colt's probably going to try something if he doesn't, so he may as well say something first. And this way, he's said his piece, and she's the one who gets to decide if she's interested or not so he's not harassing her if she doesn't like the attention. Also, it's a chance to get Colt annoyed if he noticed them talking away from the group which he apparently missed.

Although, I may also try to slip a word in with Halldora yet, but I prefer to RP when I know the other person is active. Otherwise you end up with conversations like that one where... Well, you make long speeches and you walk away. O.o
