I am on my way to having battery corruption issues that will eventually result in new battery. My laptop is perpetually on the charger nowadays, as it is no longer truthful about how much battery is left. It shuts off semi-randomly when it pretends to have about 60% power left.

Well then Haspen, will there be more time for shopping? O.o

The same city - and shops - two chapters from now on (right before final map). The stock might change a bit.

Then it is settled. I'll just tighten my belt and my Wind Tome will just have to hold me over until then. My penchant for long walks in the forest should prevent me from getting into combat too much anyways.

Your shopping decision shenanigans are taking days (or week?) by now... just like FEF1 cadre.

Truly you're the next generation of FEF players.

This also means I can start pilling uneven odds at you and actively attempt to murder your characters every moment of the game.

Bring it on. I am prepared. Colt will be ready, any time, any hour. I've already been prepared to murder Colt long before you started planning to murder Colt.

I'm fine with either a javelin or a pilum, and  don't mind spending extra gold on getting an upgrade for Einar.
I don't have the book on the school computer, so what exactly does the Forest Longbow upgrade?

Effective damage vs everything when user is standing on forest tiles.

An upgrade's an upgrade, so I still agree on it. And besides, who knows when we'l encounter lots of forest again.

Well currently Einar's buying him a knife, but since Cidney's the one with the money, if he shows up and is all "I want a Blade instead" that's fine. Also I'd say get a physical weapon over another magic weapon.
