Uhm... Maybe up HP a bit? I think the PS for +2 AS hacking thing is good, same with Pushed. Not sure about the PF? It feels a bit... extreme since it means that at any point it means anything, he's going to be getting half support unless it's like... siege weapons. He's going to hate mages, but whatever.

Jorund seems good to me. Specially like the character, quite interesting. Checks out progression wise, like the personal skills and the fault seems good to me. Won't be many situations he won't be under its effects, but I assume that's the point.

The low RES is quite worrying, magic will shred this dude like no other.

Other than that, seems good for a small game, although I imagine a long one would make the RES really painful.

@Swordstar: Hmm, OK. I would raise HP, but I'm not sure where to take progression from. I guess I prefer DEF over HP since if a mage gets me I'm toast either way, but a high DEF can greatly extend my HP against melee. I guess we'll see how it works. :\

@Xan: That (short game) was what I thought concerning his PF and lack of RES. They both fit his character anyway.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. ^^^

Hmm, I mean, if you want to do that, that's fine. I tend to think HP is important, but I guess if you're going for lots of Def, that could work too. Really it's what you want. I just tend to drop more in HP if I can. *shrug* etc.

In my experience: High DEF + SPD beats high HP + DEF for sheer damage reduction (unless you get your DEF to truly absurd levels).

@Swordstar: I didn't mean any offense. Even if our opinions differ I still wanted to get another perspective, and thanks for providing one.

@Xan: I'm banking on that. ^^^;

Oh, no, not offended at all. Sorry if it seemed like I was. I was just kinda typing as I thought. Yeah, no offense taken at all.

@SC: I can attest that you'd be right there, based upon my experience with Sal.

I sadly know now to never dump (nor dabble in, really, middling at the least is the lowest I would go for) SPD unless I have Alexander-high levels of DEF.

SPD and SKL are probably the two most important stats followed by RES and DEF if you ask me. MAG and STR can be offset by strong weapons, and HP doesn't matter as much if you have good DEF/RES. LUK is meh at best. :P However I want Jorund to tear enemies up so I pumped STR instead of RES.

Of course, if you're a dedicated healer character, all you need is DEf, RES, SPD, and HP. :P

You can get around SKL with an accurate weapon and a good PS (that's how Sal is hitting anything after all), but it determines crits and that becomes pretty important for DPS warring.

I'm actually of an opposite opinion on MAG and STR, weapons are gravy, your stats are what allows you full damage. But maybe that's because I've never had my hands on a weapon that deals more than nine damage so all of my actual damage comes from my stats.

Hmm. I take that back, you're right. It depends on your class. As a Fighter-type, you don't need STR because Axes, unless you just want to be Guts. (Protip: I do. :P) I still think SKL is important, though. I would say that one should always put at least 50% in the attack stat of their choice, probably.

Of course, otherwise you'd wind up not hurting anything except for the opposite of the magic/melee spectrum.

As to the fighter strength, either if your Guts or if you have low SPD and need to make up for lost damage, as Sal does.

I raise the claymore, it is a 1-2 range weapon.

Oh, it's a Crush weapon, which no one has specialized in yet. I'll have to do that at some point.

Look good to me. Just replace the green with transparency and tighten the borders of the image a bit and you'll be set.
