Game freezes when in battle

I decided to play adventure mode but sometimes when i in battle the game "freezes".I don't know what this is because i can still see anouncements,go to inventory,but can't move nor attack (others creatures seen to freeze too).

Are you dead? Also, it might be that you're losing consciousness and can't do anything. Does the combat log say you are losing consciousness?

Are you flooded with messages? I'm not sure if that lets you use inventory or not, but you need to go through all of them before you can act again.

No i looked at the log but my guy as still active and fighting.I can still pause the game,view the anouncements,but can't move/attack (same with other creatures)

Have you tried alt moving? Like using the alt key and whatever movement key.

That solved.I was at a hostile town when i entered a shop.Inside there was a creature who breathed fire thus engulfing the place in flames.I couldn't get out so i tried this and worked.Thank you.
