Things quiet down for a bit.

Our 2 satellites are completed.

We complete research into alien materials and start looking into carapace armor. We can now make Nano-vests for anyone who wants one.

With the excavation complete, we begin work on the new Power Generator

And finally we're at the end of the month and just about time for the Council Report. I have a feeling our results will be...mixed. Regardless, we need to deploy those two satellites. Where shall they go?

We'll also have a fair amount of money coming in, plus some more engineers and scientists. That will help considerably. I'm definitely going to buy some laser rifles, but beyond that if there is anything else you guys want me to get (like, say, more recruits) let me know.

I vote to drop a satellite on Japan, and hold onto the other for right now.

     Exactly.

A bunch of recruits to replace losses - do we have enough for 8?

The final images aren't loading, so I'm assuming Phobos is dead.

Well, that sucks.

Another minion is needed, Joanna Rickenbacker, preferably british, nickname 'Deimos'.

I'm glad I didn't go. I'm also glad I'm still the highest rank.

Does a muton usually spawn? Or was that just your bad RNG?

Might depend on how early the mission shows up. But that's exactly why I usually like to have laser rifles for that mission. That and it helps one-shot the thin men.

Sorry, missed this earlier.

We have enough for 4 right now. We'll easily have enough for 8 after the council pays us in a day.

I believe it's time that Krauss got back in the action. I'm sure he wouldn't mind teaching rookies. Then again, his last squad of rookies died a horrible and painful death...

Ishmael killed a mess of rookies too, we should get together, with two reds- rookies!

We put up a satellite over Japan and keep on in reserve, just in case. We also have capacity for another, if we need to make one before the next month is over.

I also order 4 more rookies, since we need to fill our ranks back up.

The council is...actually pretty happy with us! I'm a bit surprised, but, hey, I'll take a good report when I can get one.

The generator is finished shortly afterwards, which is good.

First order of business is building the Officer Training School. Being able to field more troops is going to help considerably!

Next I have Shen's team build 4 Laser Rifles. That'll upgrade our combat capabilities quite a bit.

A few days later we finish research into Carapace armor.

What shall we research next? I've defaulted to Meld recombination, but we can do whatever.

Also, for reference, here are the costs to build Carapace armor if we want some suits.

Our rookies have arrived, so here is the full list of available soldiers for people to choose from:
Rookie - Brazil - Female - Will 57 - Aim 60 - Mob 14
Rookie - Japan - Female - Will 57 - Aim 65 - Mob 11
Rookie - Iran - Male - Will 51 - Aim 60 - Mob 11
Rookie - Italy - Female - Will 31 - Aim 65 - Mob 12
Rookie - USA- Male - Will 29 - Aim 75 - Mob 11
Rookie - South Korea - Male - Will 59 - Aim 60 - Mob 13
Rookie - India - Female - Will 51 - Aim 60 - Mob 13
Rookie - USA - Female - Will 49 - Aim 70 - Mob 14
Rookie - Israel - Male - Will 59 - Aim 65 - Mob 11

If you want any of them, claim them now.
