Search for anything of value and interrogate the prisoners to find out if the keep has any other entrances.

+1, but also parlay with the men inside for their surrender. Threaten to burn them out, or execute their friends we have as prisoner.

Our part is done, and the count is better equipped to finish this anyway. +1 to looting and prisoner interrogation.

If we can find a way to take the castle for him quickly and easily we enhance our reputation and may earn a bonus.

What do we have to lose by attempting a parlay? After all, we're the ones holding the prisoners, not the Count. Also, as PewdsRocks said, we could gain prestige as well as the ransom for The Lord we are capturing.

We are mercenaries, our worth and more importantly our pay. Is determined by our reputation.

Oh, for sure. I was just saying that we don't need to help storm the keep. (in my usual unclear manner.)

Yeah we don't have the right to parlay on the Count's behalf.

Search for anything of value and interrogate the prisoners to find out if the keep has any other entrances.
+1

+1 to taking care of our wounded too.

Can we also: See if we can possibly climb the keep and get some men inside the top floor? We might be able to take them by surprise that way. It'd probably be super dangerous just freeclimbing the walls so if it seems unsafe or in any way not a good idea, then let's just hang back and provide support fire.

Also yay my plan totally worked guise!! :D

You did I think. Opening the gates was my bit, not saying I was the mastermind, I'm just proud that I thought of that. :3

Yes, our plan worked.

-1 to any overtly aggressive moves. He's locked up, so we don't need to rush.

We have the right to parlay (with or without the Count's knowledge) due to the fact that we just took the damned castle! Seriously, what can we lose if we attempt to parlay? A reprimand from our lord?

That doesn't give us the right to parlay. We did a job we were hired to do parlaying is the right of the commander of our force. And since he has more then enough men to squash us and we're still under contract to him it's best not to annoy him.

-1 to parlaying without our lords consent.

+1 to parlay, im sure the count doesn't want to pay for a new castle.

And I'm sure he'd rather be talking to the enemy lord himself to discuss terms of surrender.

We have no authority to discuss any form of terms with the enemy so at most all we can do is say hello then tell him to talk to the count not us. Unless we want to be sent away without pay for overstepping our position twice in a matter of days.

-1. He can do it himself, we don't even know exactly what he wants out of this, how are we supposed to agree to terms? What authority would we have to do so anyway?
