Tell me, do the vampires respond properly to sunlight?

What sunlight? SS13 is orbiting a sunless gas giant in a dead system.

Well, we could put two and two together and write a book: "The Shit that Hans and Max Did: You Won't Believe This Shit."
He's fucking with us.

Yeah, it's suggested that SS13 orbits a sun, which is why the solar panels can sometimes be in the station's shadow, etc.

I threw together a more-or-less replica of my basic notebook drawing in GIMP, showing my current idea of the layout. Note: This is not expected to look good or be safe for the human mind to observe.

This is obviously missing a good many things, like the chapel, maintenance, specific rooms, etc. It's also not drawn to scale and serves as the basic layout of the station. Thoughts?

Would dorms go under civilian sector?

I'd probably connect it to the hallway leading to escape, but not escape itself.

The dark red area - maybe you should cut it off from north, and instead of a hallway, connect the remaining halves with a maintenance tunnel? A major issue about Glloydstation turned out to be the # shape; if you snip that part of the hallway, it turns into two crosses attached to each other, which is easier to navigate, and you still could be able to make a shortcut.

Alternatively, maintify the entire hallway from the east of Bridge (between the bright red and dark green areas), for the same effect but different layout. Alternativelier, bright red to teal, although that one would keep the issue of parallel corridors.

Swapping security and engineering would be a good idea. Keeps the cops close to them shifty civvies and the singularity away from escape.

Cargo could also be moved portwards, right above engineering. That reduces transport distance between the two and makes room for something else where it is right now; the civilian sector perhaps, keeping in mind J/L's suggestion.

Bay uses a different style of engine, which is why I put engineering there. I'm honestly not sure what happens when their engine catastrophically fails, but it can't be any worse than a singularity. I put cargo by research because 99% of everything they will send out will go there.

For balance reasons, security is usually placed a bit further away from the rest of the station in /tg/code.
