As I recently "procured" the core(( I might be able to get others) book for Eclipse phase and right now, im thinking, "Who the fuck do I play this might be cool as fuck game?" And after a brief looking through the book, I looked around, and decided the fellows of Bay12 might be great!


Now, I have NEVER  played A P&P game before, nor have I have a clue on how, but i am rather interested!
If you have any questions/comments/death threats on how your gonna poop down my decapitated head, just post.
And also this might double on what we might do for chars and stuff, and I have no way of charsheets, or shit like that, all i got is core book, google.com and a trusty trusty computer.

Eclipse Phase is legally free and most of it's books are available on one of the designer's blog, although they'd very much like it if you buy it if you like it. http://robboyle.wordpress.com/eclipse-phase-pdfs/

Anyway I'm interesting in playing, but I'm definitely not interested in GMing.

Hm, Yea Thats where i got it from, but anyways i think we can have about 5-ish players, Maybe 6 if the GM think they can handle it, and then once we got the players, how are we gonna play?

You can play on roll20, IRC or on the forums. The sheets could be posted on mythweaver, or simply typed into a word document and posting that text on something like pastebin.
I'd reccomend playing on the forums, since not everyone is going to be in the exact timezone or have time for regular sesions, so forums are propably the way to go with this.
EDIT: Forgot to mention. Might be willing to play via forums. Which of the books do we need to download?

     Here's an editable-field PDF character sheet, direct link to PDF but not saveable, though.

     Also, I'd like to be in on this, although the char-gen looks suspiciously as in-depth as some of the Rolemaster/Spacemaster games I was involved in, char-gen might involve a lot open PDF's and some spreadsheets.

   1) I'm far too Kaotic and disorganised to be GM, none of my games lasted more than a few sessions.
   2) Artifact recovery/analysis sounds like fun.
   3) TBA
   4) I'm GMT +9, Australia, I'm unemployed so time is not an issue, but early mornings work better for me.
   5) I have no experience with roll20, but we need a more immediate environment than forum posting.

    I think I'll start creating a character and see how much of a nightmare/sweet dream it is.

Be aware that Eclipse Phase is on the math-heavy side of tabletop (the running joke is that you need a minor in abstract calculus to get through a combat encounter) and that you should NEVER EVER create a character using the core rules. Use the character creator in Transhuman, it is far superior.

On second thought, im gonna have to rule out roll20, simply because it is a tad complicated for me
but we still got other forms of Doing it, and I cant find the transhuman book download.
