This is your regular let's create a setting game, with one exception. If a statement contradicts something else, it is assumed to be part of a seperate universe in the same setting. You cannot contradict one idea though:

There are ways to cross between universes, bu they are very difficult to find.

There exists a gigantic serpent that is as long as one hundred galaxies. That serpent has planets and galaxies circling around itself. It is said that once the serpent goes to sleep, the universe will end, resetting itself once it wakes from it's slumber.

A huge bear exists next to this serpent, carrying another universe on it's back.

 They are the guardians against a threat from outside even the multiverse, the area we would know as "The Void".

The snake is currently asleep, and will be for a few billion years.

...and will awaken when the threat reaches it's highest point.

Within both universes near opposing ends of one of the crossways from universe to universe, two highly advanced civilizations exist of astonishingly different viewpoints, and both are working on trying to harness the path between the universes.

The serpent has feathers and a (relatively) tiny bowler hat.

All universes exist atop or within the bodies of giant animals, wandering about the cosmic plains until the day the threat arrives.

The groups of five animals that have universes existing atop or within them are atop even larger animals.

At the bottom is an ant upon which all multiverses rest, and it in turn scuttles about on the hat of the feathered serpent.

One of the worlds contains a race of six-leggged humanoid lizards.

Try a little smaller scale type thing. Like one of the other games but with contradictions that are allowed.

Sentient beings can channel the power of the animal their universe resides on for awesome animal-themed magic.

The most advanced sentient beings are very similar to the animal their universe rests upon. Nobody knows whether the animal changes to match the most important sentient beings or whether the animal encourages the development of sentient beings that are like it, or whether the animal created them.

This does not mean the universe where humans live is necessarily riding on on the back of a big naked human. That would assume that humans are the most important sentient being in their universe, which may not be true.

The six-legged humanoid lizards live in a universe that resides on a snake, and are discriminated against by the snake majority. However, snake magic is only accessible to the righteous, and so the lizard people are the only magic users in the snake universe, which makes them both prized slaves and dangerous terrorists.
