We all know they aren't necessary. Normally they aren't ever used.

Kira, Ivan and Richard proceed down the empty hallway, they come across two doors across the hallway from one another, both are open, it is dark inside both of them.

Richard moves to the doorway and tosses a molotov inside, the room is completely full of Drifters, there are also strange fleshy formations on the walls and floor. There is a player corpse in the room.

The Drifters all turn and start floating towards Richard.

Bloody hell there's a lot of them!

(Drifters float, they have no legs or arms, they appear to be mangled burnt and maimed corpses, the game manual says they have no weakness but most aim for the head, it appears to work best by shooting there, they can spit acid at close range, the acid does minor damage and distorts survivor's eyesight for a second, they can spit rapidly, usually causing survivors to run into the horde and die. Standard ZM1 strategy as a Zombie Master is to make a horde of Shamblers and throw in some Drifters, in enclosed spaces that can be the death of many survivors.)

(Sorry for the update delay, I found a game called Project Overseer, it's basically a game of Sburb but text based. It has distracted me.)

Richard backs up out the door and opens fire. Kira and Ivan also open fire.

As the Drifters are all closely packed and so close, it is impossible to miss.

Quite a few Drifters go down from either fire or bullets, one drifter almost gets to Richard before getting shot by Kira.

Drifters appear to be getting formed out of the fleshy parts of the walls, there is an open and unexplored door behind the group.

(Blackspace will update as soon as the guy on the other forum posts actions for the ships he got from the delinquent player, I think he forgot so I'll remind him.)

So, I've been playing quite a bit of Zombie Master recently. Holy hell, that game is addicting. It's a shame there are so few servers for it. Anyways, close the doors, pray to every god that you can remember that the ZM can't open/close that particular door, and open the other door.

Richard kicks the door closed as Kira looks inside the already open other door, the flashlight reveals a rather dark hallway, but otherwise nothing out of the ordinary.

The door to the Drifter room suddenly swings open and Ivan fires into the room, dropping some Drifters.

(Yah, it would be nice if there were more ZM servers, are the Furry Hell servers still up? I haven't played for a while.)
