Good news :)

The are now adding a custom chat to the game of which I recommend the chat name be Bay12 for ease of joining. 

In other news, Watchers of the Bay has nearly gathered enough firewood and meat to celebrate Dwarven superiority.  Shortly after we will be buying our first domain to start production on wooden beams for the Manor.

Who can I send firewood to to help with that?

We hit our 20k requirement of firewood.  I think you can send yours to Girlinhat's guild, they need it for their festival.

Just in case anyone missed it, you can mail me (Hoshllem) in game for all of your Tannin and Resin needs. I am still, as far as I am aware, our 'main' alchemist and am trying my best to provide everyone who needs it with tannin and resin. I will craft this stuff for free and all I ask is you help me out by providing me with materials to make tannin and resin. If you want more details check the spreadsheet or mail me in game with your tanning/assembly strength needs.

In other news, Thanes should be getting it's headquarters built sometime relatively soon.

Even though there's a bit too much waiting, i find the concept of this game quite appealing (macro oriented, afk friendly) are there any similar browser games available ? (preferably in the same rpg/sandbox/strategy genre)

I find that with alts and having a character or two in dungeon-running mode, it helps alleviate the tedium of waiting for queued task to finish.  I'll think on the similar games question.  Brain is too out of it still to come up with concrete answers.

I've just got into the world of mass production in HQ Tin Blades, HQ Copper Blades and nothing else.

New update is swell. Tabs have been implemented, so we can finally have dedicated channels in game for stuff, like trading! Tooltips got an update, so you don't have to strain to see the difference between your exceptional nettle/fustian shirts, the changes are highlighted as you view the item's stats.

Something about the Den being translated, which I know nothing about since I'm nowhere near that deep in. People like Leddy could probably tell us more, though.

Anyone on here able to create a Still? I need something better than Superior Brodamine (6 Thermal/6 Corrosion, 15 alchemy) in order to get myself to gold science wings. I'll also have need for an engineering compass better than 14 engineering. I can use up to a 35 skill alchemy tool and a 34 skill engineering tool

I can get you better than that, probably.  I don't know how many of the engineered hand-tools work (I know all about machines!) but I'm at like 29 engineering, so I'm sure I can do better than a 15.  I'll have to go get the recipe for it, though, and then see how material types mesh...

At current, there's 34's on sale for 8g though.  That's not too bad, really...

If you could look at what you can make I'd appreciate that, I saw the still on the market but would rather buy from a dwarf if I can help it. If you can't make anything close though I guess I'll buy that one.

Yeah, I'll check it tomorrow most likely.

EDIT: Regular Krisental + Tin gets 31 alchemy, but a scant 1 thermal and 3 concoction.  It seems the glass is almost entirely used for the skill, and the quality of the tool is almost entirely used for the therm/conc strength.  The ingot used has a marginal effect at best.  The main limiter for the ingot is the skill level.  As you use higher grade glass, the difficulty rises, and it's easier to use better ingots without raising the difficulty, because the glass has already raised it.  The ingot gives at best a 2 push in skill when getting towards steel, or a 1 push in therm/conc maybe.

Unfortunately Krisental is made using marble sand, which is fairly difficult to actually come by, and engineering ANYTHING takes a long time, since I have to literally write a dissertation on the item before I'm confident enough to try and build it.  Something like 1-2 gold for a sale, because you are a cool dwarf, and depending on how strapped for cash you are.
