Well, game guide says Experimental table gives bonus to alchemy and concoction strength. Stove however, does give bonus to herbalism so might be useful in your case too?

Low-end materials, whatever's easiest for you, and I don't know, maybe 10, if that's easily doable? I haven't used them before so I don't fully know what to expect, but I've got loads of leatherworking recipes unlocked for studded leather armor and no studs to make them with. : ( I'm hoping my metalworking character will be able to make them soon, but progress in metalworking is severely hampered by the insane amount of time it takes to gather and process metal into a usable state. I might need to invest in some better tools or something. Or maybe a workshop in my house...

Well, Tin is always the easiest to work with, but I can produce copper studs too, copper is just a huge pain to collect.  It takes 11 to make a full suit of armor, as well.
