figuring out a price to sell crafted items is pretty tough to do sometimes, the market cannot be trusted because people are listing items at crazy prices sometimes. The game is new enough that the market is not exactly stable at this point.

Anyone have anything like this set up?

the price increase NPC use when selling their item are usually around 1.15x
eg. a cedar handle are worth 87b, but when you buy them from NPC they cost 1 silver.

the formula are (sell prices/base prices) 1 silver is 100b so 100/87 = 1.14x

if you are unsure with the price of that item you want to sell, just multiply it by 1.15
and set that price as the minimum sell prices

I can make Leather chest armor that buffs leadership. Just putting that out there. I really need orders since you can only put 4 items on the market and low level gear doesn't sell fast.

Made my first gold few days ago!
I imediately blew it on some recipe I can't remember which, only to go past the golden line again and even further this time.

Then blew it off again on some premium-quality copper blades and some firewood (one of you guys/gals was selling it, thanks).

Buuuuuuuut I'm back again, over 2 gold this time, more than 1 gold with just one big stack of lumber.

If any woodworker out there is just starting out and/or struggling for money - level up your skill till you can cut maple or better yet, oak.

One oak log sells for 2s/40c. Cheap money.

Right now I'm still going more or less solo, trying to level up my skills and earn some money, but if there is any need for a woodsman, guild or item wise, just let me know.
