Heads up for healing potions, every point of healing restores 6% in a single part of you, this is for ampules, not sure about vials though.

ok...I try this game too.

Character name is "Stormhead" (Metal).

I'm interested in how long this game can motivate me to play it :)

(How) can I learn other Trades? And what is the tradeoff of more than one (if possible)?

You learn more trades from trainers, you have to pay them to train you. There is no real tradeoff, just that it takes more time to train more skills.

Does skill level effect the "power" your character puts out, or is that entirely equipment?

equipment, the building your in, jewelry are the main contributers...there might be a companion somewhere that has one or two...not sure.

From what I see, equipment purely affects skill levels... but I honestly understand very little of what I'm doing, I just keep making bigger numbers.

It'll start to be even more difficult once durability is implemented, as well.

Check! Thanks.

I'm not quite sure how other crafting works, but with potions the concoction strength of the mortar and pestle I use add to my "power" score, so I have to use less valuble crafting materials to offset high end ingredients. I'd imagine there's a similar system with hunting, certain animals might need x power, and blades provide power, etc?

oh jeez,I can't blame them for it, the game being an economy game, but yeah that'll definitely throw a wrench into a lot of things!

I doubt they will activate durability for a while...and who knows...maybe durability is once every day or 12 hours.

Check! Thanks.
Confirmed, tier 3 foremen have the the power skills.

I'm looking into getting a concession, and is there any major difference between where you settle? I'd like flora resources, is there any particular area to settle for that, if anyone knows?

There are no special equipment for botany or horticulture. So you would probably either make an outdoor workshop to put a stove or make a full workshop with a stove and a mill. And since its just a stove you could place it anywhere.

Well...no, for metals, gems and stone you might need a rail of the specific type to harvest resources in an area that doesn't appear in any of the mines. In fact some of the "End Game" resources require a guild sized structures such as the monolith quarry in kingfalcon mountains to get marble monoliths. Those and the giant trees are used to make a manor which...I honestly don't know what it gives once you have that built.

Of coarse at this point I could be completely going off on a tangent unrelated to what your asking...

It generally goes that an outdoor workshop(3 construction components) is cheaper to set up then a full workshop(13 construction components) but has the downside of no mill or second machine apart of it.

Alright, I've heard plenty of people say that they want us to pretty much own the metal market. Well, I was looking through it earlier and I noticed something. Now several of us have sold things on the marketplace, but all of the prices are vastly different. We were all undercutting each other's prices. It might be worth looking into to set a 'standardized' price for some of the consumables.

High enough that we still make a profit, but low enough that we undercut the prices of the other players. If we all sell items at the same price, they are forced to buy from us. We're given them better deals than most of the other players in the game, and there are enough of us that we could likely force the market to sell from that price. Sure, I imagine a few players could undercut our prices, but the idea is that we get the price just write so it would be effort for them to do it without much of a payoff.

To be honest, I haven't put much thought at all into this idea. So it could just be horrible or not make much sense at all. Anyways, your thoughts on this?

Put my first glass items up on the market.

Suddenly I feel like big people.

That's true, Sappho. But at the same time neither blades or chisels allow any sort of leveling, either.  At this point I'm definitely stuck between a rock and a hard place.  I don't have enough money in-game to get enough Mountain stat to start prospecting for lodestone, which is required in order to get to the higher metals.  I also don't have enough skill levels in order to get the higher ranks of Bronze crafting, either.  I have 14.3 right now, and most of them take 16+.

What clothing do you have? I might be able to craft some with better mountain stat. I can also make hill jewelry if that might help at all.
