Each glass is just like each metal, stone, wood, plant bundle, ect. in that they may have their own qualities over all the high tier it is the better it is.  So asking which glass they need is silly, they can use ALL OF IT.  They'll just use lower level stuff to make lower level ampules/vials or jewelry mounts or something.

Edit: Also don't do glass unless you are going to skill off of it at low levels.  It takes A LONG time to make even one thing of Casadir glass.

Never ask a fashioner what type of a resource they want. We will suck all of it down the massive black hole that is fashioning.

He has it just perfectly. There's a reason why I made this post about Fashion not being a starter choice.

Yeah, in the guide I'm writing I give my thoughts on each of the 6 starters on how good they are.  Fashion is the only one I say never to choose as your first choice.

I went and got myself a second character. This one shall be mostly focusing on construction related trades. The name is Donryu (because being called Don is so natural to me now). Started with stone trade and planning to quickly branch off in wood and science (mostly engineering).

To keep things simple, Alexwazer will keep handling all the trading, dealing and any other communication for both of my characters. He's the one I'm likely to spend to most time on because of dungeons.

Fashion can get some raw materials, work on the artistan farm can give you bundles that can be used to do sewing and/or bartering for other materials.

I know, its kind of a bad example, but between that, the ratkin lair and garren'gul, getting resources shouldn't take that long if you only have fashion...the issue I'd say is getting to the point that you can go into those.

So what should I spend early game doing?
Broadening my skills or focusing on grinding the ones I have?
I don't want to mess up too badly.

It seems fairly hard to screw up badly, unless you continue to make things that will not give a skill up for no reason, and instead end up having to let your char spend a few hours asleep or eat one of those cookies. Making things worth a decent amount of money (like pine logs, sorta) can be useful if you want to expand your skills sooner.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I'm going to 2nd this...probably the worst thing to do is nothing...broadening your skills allows you to be more self reliant, focusing on a skill increases the money you make as you get higher. Exploring things isn't a waste of time either since it lets you find things you didn't know about before.

Therian is not a zero-sum game.  You cannot 'mess up' and there is no problem in leveling something, except the time and money in it.  There are no skill points or levels, so you don't have to min-max, you can easily max every skill.  The only good reason for multiple characters, honestly, is group work.  You can have one building walls while another crafts weapons.  Otherwise, a dedicated player could do both.

Tnx
